Independent Police Report made online tonight re today's attempt to report a crime. Met officer at Starbucks on 82nd and Holgate Edwards denied me his first name. Male average stature right eye twitch, skin disorder Edwards began on wrong foot: "first you complain about a homicide then a rape." he then called these "bogus" claims. he confused the message that i said to the dispatch that as a Rape (and attempted homicide) Victim, i would prefer to speak with a female officer. so they sent edwards. he left the starbucks failing to spot me despite me waiting 1;30 minutes. i called again. they re-dispatched. he did not appear for another 40 minutes or so. He finally appears. i emerge from Starbucks ask him if he wants a coffee or something to drink. He says No. Grouchy tone and disrespectful posture towards me. my knees begin to shake at the hideous scorn he uses to explain he has no time to investigate the Providence Police Security Guard assault of Benjamen Pickering: a human crushing of a disabled person so violent i am still in shock. Further shock ensues as i realize Edwards abrasive aggressive disrespectful tone. We sit down at Subway Sandwich shop patio table me first. He stands over me for a while then finally sits down and eventually relaxes from his confrontational rude tone. He explains while sitting down NO HOMICIDAL ASSAULT HAPPENED at Providence ER. He explains i am making it up, i made up the story of being a rape victim. That these are Bogus. I say i am a Rape Victim. Are you a rape victim, oh know i'm sorry, that's personal. He does not answer. I am in shock that he has misinterpreted my request for a Female Officer for reasons of Sexual Assault as an Invented Lie about a rape. He bungled the dispatch. I then realize he is not so smart. I realized he would not understood how Benjamen feels uncomfortable around Male Security Guards who use unwanted Nonconsensual touching as a part of their Providence Policing style. Benjamen attempted to get the Badge number and name of the Officer who then almost killed Ben, in what appeared to be an attempt to kill a human with a door slam blow, perhaps in anger at Ben for wanting to report the sexually degrading comments and unwanted touching from the guards.

I realized Edwards Firm Rape Denialist posture pre-emptively prevented him from comprehending the sexual harassment Ben perceived by the Security staff. I realized he is not an asset to the Portland Police force and all Portland women and men should be informed that Edwards denies Rape happens and thinks that women who claim rape are liars, and that my request to speak with a female officer was worthless. When i attempted to end the talk due to his rudeness, he aggressively badgered me saying, No What happened? His aggressive belligerant interrogation style tactics need work. They were highly inappropriate for the task at hand. his 1. "you are a Liar and nothing ever happened" 2. "i'm going to arrest you" 3. then I'm not going to write the report then 4. now you have to tell me what happened STRATEGY was very Turbulent. it made me think he was trying to be deliberately intimidating. since i was more amused at his ineptitude than intimidated, i just focused on calm slow easily understandable terms and repetition of his demands or orders to cease all contact with the portland police non-emergency line or with the Providence Assailants or Whistleblower Providence Staff Witnesses. I tried to negotiate to the Male Guards not to keep touch Ben or pointing their Fingers in Ben's Blind or Seeing Eye. Nurse Gretchen: you can't be training the Security Guards. She expelled me after promising she would not expel me if Ben and i collaborated to provide a Urine Sample. The use of me for medical purposes i found extremely bizarre as i am not, and never have been a paid staff at Providence. That a Urine sample under coersion of expulsion of ben's best friend Me Mary Eng was threatened at Ben---put me in a position of violating Ben's personal genital privacy in front of a surveillance camera in order to preserve my threatened status as Ben's Family Visitor. I found Gretchen's abuse of Ben horrid. she denied him a Bathroom Break for his Defecation needs saying he could defecate in a Bedpan on the fllor of the solitary isolation sensory deprivation tank at room 16. the continued abrasive style culminated in the slamming of Ben in the door. I myself made many bathroom trips in and out of this door and could myself have been smashed. If this was a calculated attempt to Kill Ben as it appeared from my righthand vantage point, or to inflict extreme stunning physical violence, concusion and "wind knocked out" or broken ribs as a "Medical Treatment" or measure to silence Ben's attempt to get the Anonymous officer's Badge and Name. Is it ethical to continue to shield the Assailant from Civil and Criminal Liability by collaborating with Providence to hide his Identity?

Why was i exposed to such extreme Brutality against a severely disabled Boy and why is Portland Police Officer Edwards protecting the attacker of a disabled person? Is this not a violation of the spirit of the PPD DOJ memo, to protect assaults against IPR participants who are injured later by a third party. The Protection of the Assailant i interpret as a Police action to collaborate in retaliation against Ben Pickering for speaking publically about the Horrendous May Assault. I will appreciate the IPR report and the following CRC investigations checking the OR DOJ investigation, the Internal Reports by Providence Quality Control, and the Ryan Martinson notebook entry confirming the Apology and Handshake with Benjamen Pickering who said he just wanted an apology for the attack. At that time while Ben is incarcerated in the horrible Providence Malpractice Pit, Ben Pickering said he did not want to make a criminal report on the Security Guard assault. When Benjamen Pickering is transferred to appropriate TBI specialist care and with Advocate assitance, he should be given Special Needs assistance accomodations to make the report. I have been in shock since the assault and imagine Ben is too. That Edwards is so insistent on Restricting my familial Visitor status, after i witnessed such grievous malpractice, is peculiarly an extraneous concern: that Providence Business Reputation should precede crime reporting with willing witness who has been drained by long waits and exhaustively unintelligent and biased policing protocols which smoke of cover-up, obstruction, and conspiracy to conceal a crime, as well as conspiracy to injure a brutality victim by collaborating in effectuating the denial of appropriate medical response to the severity of the assault to save Providence Hospital's skin. After he tells me i was Not Raped (ever in my lifetime?) and that NO ASSAULT OCCURRED in the ER at Providence against Ben Pickering who is Blind Disabled Dyslexic and suffering a crippling Limp, linguistic and cognitive issues consistent with the Scientific Community's best research in Traumatic Brain Injury. Officer Edwards said he will not be writing a report about the Assault of Ben Pickering. He denied me his first name. He explains i an a Liar, and Lying and that it is a crime to file false police reports. I explain i know it is a crime and i would never make a false Police report. His accusation of me being a Liar i found Highly unprofessional, prejudiced against me, misogynistically condescending.

I explain, I DO NOT LIE I AM THE MOST HONEST PERSON I KNOW. Officer Edwards explains he interviewed the Providnce ER Security GuardAssailant of Benjamen Pickering. If no crime was committed and no violence against Ben, why interview the ER Staff. How do i know he interviewed the Person WHo Crushed Benjamen Pickering with a door, and not some other Security Guard. Officer Edwards did not furnish a Mugshot or Id Picture of the Assailant to confirm that it is the person i saw assault Benjamen Pickering. He said no Homicide Occurred. I do not know if Benjamen SUrvived the attack. I am concerned that Providence has excluded Ben from any Visitors after the assault to hide the Bruising and Stunning. The Night Before Ryan Martinson shook Benjamen Pickering's hand and apologized. Apologized for what, asked Anne Eng. Anne Eng was not present during Edwards abrasive confrontational style with me. I was very pleased that he had been at the Hospital nonetheless, interviewing the assailant that Morning. I appreciated that he opened up to me that far. I asked the name of the Security Guard assailant. He said he would not tell me. I asked if Ben's lawyers could call the ER. He said he doesn't know. He told me i will be arrested if i set foot on Providence Glisan Hospital. I strove to have a calming tone of voice with Officer Edwards due to his agitation and fingering of his possibly lethal devices as he told me my rape was bogus and the attack on Benjamen was bogus and a lie. I told him a supervisory Officer thanked my Mom and I for our work helping the officers behave at their best on the 29th of August with Medical Ambulance Dispatch in respect of Ben's Medical Fragility. the gracefulness of the EMT's should be noted. Why Providence would allow Ben to be severely neglected in an ER holding cell, only to be denied toilet breaks and verbally and physically harassed by the Security Guards was astounding. I never expected to witness such a sudden anger rage from the Security Guard against Ben. I attempted to protect Ben as the Security Lunged at Ben shouting at ben and forcefully waving his arms over my head towards Ben with both arms outstretched i sked the security guard "Stop Raising your Voice" attempting to get the mad rage of the shouting security guard to stop psychologically abusing and physically intimidating Ben who is frail, blind, and still 14 hours in to denial of care for all his May 2013 Portland Police Brutality injuries.

That Ben would suffer another grievous assault on his body from head to torso and receive no X-ray problematizes the Police relationship with ethical conduct. If the Injuries the Police prevented from documentation in Medical Care Stuart Palmiter must be commended for singling out: seeing Ben in shock after the beating, and tyrying to get Ben to a safe place at OHSU where to my understanding, Ben was still denied post-assault MRI or x-rays, but he was at least Not Crushed in a Door by a Raving, deranged Security Bully who for some reason thinks he knows that screaming at and inappropriate touching on a male sexual assault survivor will not activate his PTSD. Crushing Ben was clearly Liable. Patient swinging doors should be removed from there hinges if they are to be used as instruments of Torture. So in this case, Edwards was able to 1. Fail to Write a report 2. confirm that he spoke to the assailant 3. inform me there was no assault 4. explain that Providence wants me to be "civil" and collaborate in the opinion that Ben was not slammed in the door and that if i do that, they will not try to have edwards arrest me. 5. the threat of Edwards to assist Providence to utilize threat of Police Retaliatory Collaborative arrest to punish me for making an Hour Long Internal Quality Report with Margaret at Providence and to punish me for asking to speak to the charge nurse and asking to know the name of the assailant-security and to punish me for asking for Ben to be transferred to Intensive Care. I told Edwards i was calling every 12 hours the Er to make sure Ben is still alive. Edwards said that sounded reasonable. Edwards said there is ER Surveillance footage. I said i know and it will confirm what i saw. The Portland Police destruction of the 5/6/13 assault footage at Ace Tavern must be reported. If the Portland Policer in addition to colluding with retaliatory threats of arrest after being Ben's closest friend for 60 solid days and just witnerssing a severe attack upoin his health in an ER where hospital staff have abused my labor even extorting me with threat of expulsion if i do not assist Ben getting a Urine sample: highly foul abuse of me. The Security Guard nearly crushed me in his flailing arms towards Ben. I was highly worried for my safety as the guard lunged me from behind. That Edwards is simultaneously supposed to be investigating the assault, yet also definitively telling me prior to my statement that he spoke to Providence believes every word they say, and that i am a Liar before i open my mouth-how bizarre and uncouth. Officer Edwards bringing up of my Rape to say it did not happen put me in the worst point of disadvantage. He spoke of it with no delicacy, Trigger Warning,

or Respecrt. When he went on to call me a Liar, and explain i was never Raped. I realized what kind of Officer Edwards is capable of in cruelty. After he said this he did a few standard lines about Incarcerating me in a mental Hospital. I interpreted these as threatrs. He said my calling to report the homicide attempt was unusual and that i cannot call Portland Police Non-emergency anymore. I thought to myself that his Blacklisting me from the City of Portland Police Services Non-Emergency line due to my interest in reporting a very severe Assault to be highly ludicrously implausible. I have made a report of a downtown Violent assault in progress and a wreckless driving on Glisan. I do not appreciate his accusation that my attempts to report an assault are a lie or a waste of time or a waste of police resources. I am happily honored to help assist the Portland City Public safety. That i am not able to discern the Portland Police's motives for twice failing to take reports of the Security assault on Benjamen Pickering--leaves me mystified. At least Ryan Martinson, whose more nuanced approach to the ER the night before, had the decency to explain he would write a notebook entry and i could obtain the records. Edwards both told me there was no crime, and he interviewed the assailant. His piecing together of a strategy to me was very sloppy. I do not think city money or Police Resources should be used to cover up Providence malpractice, of a Security training issue. A Providence whistleblower today confirmed to me the security are awful. I appreciate Edwards coming out to meet me. He appeared to simmer down from his accusational, pre-emptively judgemental, rape-trigger train of thought, as i attempted to make very slow calm universally recognized smalltalk sentiments about love, and the affection i feel for my father in the retirement center. I said i planned to get the report written, and then go to the retirement center. i believe at this point Edwards began to act contrite and more mellow about his accusations and conflicting intelligence about his role as an investigator. i find it interesting that he was willing to believe the White Elder Male Anonymous security guard, and call me, a smallish female a liar from the getgo. Fortunately i patiently explained i am an honest person. I don't lie. i don't like or understand Liars. That he wasd lying about the assault on behalf of the Providence ER and possibly as a part of a strategic approach as to how to handle future assault reporting of a Portland Police Brutality victim.

Does this mean that if Benjamen Pickering is assaulted by any Hu,man Being, Portland Police will always collude with his assailants to insist Benjamen Pickering was not assaulted. I understand Police lie to save their own skin. The injury complications from the Providence assault desk number is 503 215 6000 please help get a court ordered removal of Ben from the Malpracticing hospital and into OHSU intensive Care for Traumatic Brain Injury. Get Ben the MRI and x-rays he deserved in May 2013. Portland Police colluding with Providence regarding the Cascadia referral, to hide the damage from the May attack as well as this attack on Friday 29 AUgust 2013 demonstrate a continued pattern of collusional Medical Ethics irresponsibility. Providence is now colluding with Police to protect Police Brutality . Ask Doctor David Peel, Beenish Khwajah, and Michael Savage about there collective concern to never get involved Medically in Police Brutality cases against the Disabled. Providence David Peel MD explained "i'm not here to discuss Police Brutality." Edwards obstruction of a basic report. His threat to arrest me if i continued to ask for Ben to recieve an MRI and accountability hearing on the Providence ER assault and the Portland Police collusion to assist in the denial of MRI and appropriate TBI and visionimpairment specialist medical care as well as any basic medical evaluation for Ben's many injuries is cruel. If they hospital staff had not attacked ben, i as the closest witness and Ben's advocate would not be excluded. I am concerned that Ben is being denied an Advocate who can help read forms, help him with his 24 hour caregiving needs for his left eye blindness. I am concerned that they are sending him to a unit unsafe for Bind People. I move that Ben be moved into TBI and Blind specialist program where not future ER assaults and Portland Police Cover-ups will occur. Edwards at a point defended the security guard explaining the security guard is not a medically trained person so thusly he could not understand the severity of a single blow to Benjamen being potentially lethal. the expulsion of me, his advocate against future lethal assault puts Ben in peril. Edwards said don't call to tell staff how to treat Ben's Injuries. Two charge nurses i spoke to appeared to appreciate the sensitive medical infor relay that could prevent another negligent or malevolent assault being allowed to happen on their floor.
