Dufford & Brown Adds Directors, Special Counsel

Move expands the firm’s practices in utilities, transportation and

telecommunications, regulatory law, special districts and real estate

June 16, 2009 -- Denver, CO – Denver-based law firm Dufford & Brown P.C. announced
it has added Richard Corbetta and David O’Leary, who join the firm as directors,
and Melissa O’Leary, who joins as special counsel. The three attorneys formerly
practiced with Corbetta & O’Leary of Denver.

Rich Corbetta and Melissa O’Leary supplement the firm’s PUC practice, representing
clients in the areas of telecommunications, energy and litigation. David O’Leary
enhances the firm’s special district and real estate practices.

“This is a strategic move that enables us to continue expanding to meet our

clients’ needs. With the addition of these three attorneys, we can better serve
companies in many of our core areas, including regulated industries, special
districts and real estate," said Dave Babiarz, President of Dufford & Brown.
“And, we now have added depth in these areas, which benefits our clients
immensely.”

Dufford & Brown, founded in Denver in 1960, provides legal services to individual,
commercial and quasi-governmental clients, including companies in mining,
regulated industries and real estate. The firm’s largest practices include PUC,
corporate and transactional, mergers and acquisitions, natural resources,
environmental and water law, real estate, employment and litigation, including
family matters.

“This is a powerful match of practices and clients,” said Rich Corbetta. “Dufford
& Brown gives us a broader platform from which to serve our clients, and we can
now offer them more comprehensive legal services. The breadth of their practice
and experience in PUC and real estate, among other areas, was a strong attraction
for us joining the firm.” At Dufford & Brown, Corbetta will maintain his
litigation and PUC practice in telecommunications and focus on expanding the
firm’s PUC practice in electricity, gas and transportation.

David O’Leary significantly expands Dufford & Brown’s special district practice.
O’Leary will lead the firm’s special district practice, representing those
entities, as well as developers and local governments on real estate development
and issues related to district formation, operations and
infrastructure/development finance.

Melissa O’Leary brings Dufford & Brown added expertise in administrative and
regulatory law and litigation, including matters involving compliance with state
and federal regulation, utility certification, and also experience in special
district formation.
