Row 1: sc in each ch around (4 st) Row 2-4: 1 sc in each st around for about 3 or 4 rows, or until leg is the right length. Sl st to join, leave a tail, and sew the end of the leg closed with a tapestry needle. I do not stuff the legs. Assembly Sew the legs on to the sides of the body. Leave about 2 or 3 rows between the front and back legs. Put the top shell on top of the assembled turtle body, and the bottom shell on the bottom, with the shell tabs between the front and back legs. Using the long yarn tail on each tab, sew the top of each shell tab to the underside of the top shell. Sew to the second to last row of top shell, leaving a little lip on the top shell that isnt sewn down. Embroider eyes if you wish.
