Vision MapMaker Granite (Base Product) February 2009 to till date QTP 9.5 VC++, Sql Server, Windows and Linux Manual & Automation Tester

The Vision MapMaker Granite is a window-based application for digitization of maps. It is a complete interactive desktop system with graphical user interface for viewing, creating, modifying and analyzing maps. The layer-by-layer study of GIS data involves vector digitizing, raster images, terrain elevation, creation of abstract data surfaces and multi-layered maps. This functionality can be achieved by using enterpriseclass spatial DBMS, spatial SQL queries, scripts &programs, print layouts and 3D visualization. Responsibilities: Involved in Writing Test cases, executing the Test Cases and reviewing them regularly. Report the defects and tracking the defects until closure. Involved in the Code Review and documentation. Worked Closely with Development Team to isolate, track and troubleshoot defects. Created library files for reusable operations, for run time settings, for logging the results in excel.

Automation Tester

This project is developed to help the Indian Railways to manage disaster situations. This system will use Geographic Information System (GIS) based mapping of railway tracks to find out the location of Level Crossings, Road over Bridges (ROB), Road under Bridges (RUB), Railway stations (RS). This system will also facilitate user to perform various queries about the features based on their attributes. User will also able to find out road networks from any given location like shortest path to reach given location. System will allow user print the entire map or shortest map area Responsibilities: Understanding and reviewing requirements specification. Identified test scenarios and designed test cases. Executed the test cases and tracked the defects. Created the libraries for reusable operations. Involved in Creating Build for Application tracking.
