Digital Reality

is the Acting CEO of the Public Enterprise of PTT Communications "Srbija". Since the 1st of November 2007 Goran held the position of CEO at the Public Enterprise of PTT Communications over a four-year mandate. Upon the end of his term, he was appointed Acting CEO. Prior to joining PTT Communications "Srbija", Goran was a member of the Executive Board of the and was appointed to the position of Mayor in 2000; spending two mandates as Chairman of the Chairmanships of Permanent Conference of Cities and Municipalities. E-Commerce in Europe, from Trends to Regulation 9:30 9:50 The EU Single Market Act: Impact and Opportunities for Postal Operators

Joost is a lawyer with additional specialisation in regulatory law and economics. He currently holds the position of regulatory affairs director at bpost and follows regulatory and policy evolutions in postal areas and others that are influencing the communications industry. He is also chairman of the European Affairs Committee (EAC) at PostEurop dealing with regulatory, legal and political aspects affecting the European postal operators. Before his current regulatory function, he served bpost as deputy general counsel and senior counsel in competition law. From 1993 to 2001, Joost has been a legal director of Belgacom, the Belgian incumbent telecommunications company. He has been in charge of legal and regulatory review of various pricing and product related matters in the retail and wholesale units, as well as the setting-up of subsidiaries in the field of internet and mobile communications. instrumental for his current function. The digital post platform, extending the single postal territory

Paul Donohoe is in charge of the Electronic Postal Services Programme at the International Bureau of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) in Berne, Switzerland which covers sector strategy, market development, policy and regulations for international digital postal services. A key aspect of the programme is to find innovative use of technology to enable a modern, effective and efficient postal network in areas including ecommerce, e-communications, e-identity, e-trade and e-government. Paul has an extensive background in product and technology development, marketing and corporate development across a number of sectors on both a domestic and international basis within Europe and Asia. Prior to joining the UPU, Paul was Product Development Manager for International Data Post in Denmark; Strategic advisor on e-services strategy for Australia Post; and IT Manager of Hybrid Mail within Australia Post. Before joining the Postal sector, Paul worked in the Transport industry in Hongkong, and for many years in the financial services industry in Australia, being responsible for establishing the industries 1st ecommerce network. Sbastien Houz has more than 15 years of experience working in marketing and in the world of paper and graphics, acquired in both paper manufacturing and printing industry both in Belgium and France. His experience is much like the European Mail Industry Platform (EMIP), which also spans from the world of paper producers, followed by the graphics industry and now the postal industry. Prior to joining PostEurop, Sbastien was a senior product manager for added value services as part of the bpost marketing team. His time at bpost brought him to conclude that the postal world is exciting and sometimes very far from the perception the market may have about it. Sbastien is married to Maud and a father of 4 children.

Jean-Philippe (JP) Ducasse is a postal consultant with a broad European and global experience in marketing, strategy, regulatory and international affairs. His postal career started in France at La Poste as the head of market research, then the head of global mail strategy. After three years as the first Manager of the Quality of Service Fund. In 2004 he relocated to the United States, and was most recently a Director, Global Postal Strategy with Pitney Bowes. JP is a member of the U.S. Federal Advisory Committee on International Postal and Delivery Services. He also chairs the UPU Revenue Protection working group he created in 2008. Joo Manuel Melo holds a degree in Electrotechnical Engineering (Telecommunications & Electronics) from IST Lisbon (1984) and is a PostGraduate from UCP Catholic Portuguese University (PAGE and PAEGI) and AESE Escola de Direco e Negcios (PDE). After graduation, he joined UNL lectured and performed investigation work on Accoustics. In 1985 and till 1990 he joined CTT Correios e Telecomunicaes de Portugal, where he became Communications Network Manager of the DGC Direco Geral de Correios. From 1990 till 1995 he joined Marconi S.A. (nowadays part of Portugal Telecom, S.A.) where he was Project Manager (EDI, Homebanking, etc). During the timespan he worked for Marconi he also wrote a book on EDI, to boost its adoption by Portuguese Corporations. 1990. In 1995 he was invited to return to CTT (nowadays the Public Postal Portuguese Operator and separated from Portugal Telecom, S.A.) where he has been leading the inception of several Projects as Head of Development (of ICT based Projects) within Strategy & Development Directorate, namely: Hybrid Mail, Internet Kiosks, MDDE (Electronic Postal Certification Mark), E*Commerce, GIS solutions, just to name the most recent ones. Peter Somers is a member of the Executive Committee of bpost and Chief Executive Officer of bpost Parcels & International. Peter joined bpost in December 2000 as Managing Director of DeltaMedia SA/NV, and as Director Press Distribution. Having successfully redesigned and implemented a new and efficient distribution system for newspapers, magazines and non-addressed mail, he was appointed Managing Director of bpost international in June 2002. He became member of the Executive Committee in 2007 and recently added the domestic parcel business to his board responsibilities. As CEO, Peter is responsible for the international mail & parcel business of bpost, he is now actively working on sustainable growth and international expansion. Juergen Lohmeyer joined Deutsche Post immediately after the first German postal reform back in 1990, as head of corporate strategic planning. After several management positions in various divisions of Deutsche Post DHL in Germany and abroad Juergen is currently Vice President International Postal Relations and Mail Import based at the Group's headquarters in Bonn. He is a member of the PostEurop Management Board since 2010 and the Chairman of PostEurop's Operational Affairs Committee (OAC). Juergen and his wife Ursula have three grown up children.
