About our Logo

The A in our logo has a dual meaning. First, it represents Aureus, the Latin word for golden which represents the pinnacle of achievement. At Aureus & Associates, our goal for every project is to deliver the highest quality of workmanship and service possible; which brings us the second meaning of A which represents the time-tested and notably most solid foundation in all construction, the Pyramid. The colors in our logo also have meaning. The gold, once again, represents our name and the brick color represents our industry.

President Edmund Aureus, Jr. founded the company in 2004 in pursuit of his love and passion for construction. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, Edmund has earned the respect from the entire construction spectrum; from Building Managers, Tenants, Residential Owners, Architects, Designers, Subcontractors and Vendors/Suppliers. At Aureus & Associates, Edmund instills the philosophy of good oldfashioned team-work and hard work to ensure project success from conception to completion. We strongly believe in building great rapport and communication with everyone involved so that projects are completed on schedule and on budget. Since its inception, Aureus & Associates has completed several residential project renovations/ restorations and commercial projects including standard tenant improvements, office renovations and educational facilities.

Completed in july 2006, Aureus completed this 35,000SF Tenant Improvement space in 7 weeks. Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. is one of the video game industrys biggest success stories. From its beginnings as a jukebox hire and repair shop to the field of entertainment and amusement arcade machines, and expanded into home formats Konami continues to be recognized as a leader in innovative and entertaining games, and is always looking to the future. The Konami 35,000 SF Tenant improvement included the construction and renovation of over thirty-three (33) private offices, six (6) conference/meeting rooms, dedicated server room, new reception area, breakrooms, eight (8) storage rooms, over fifteen (15) open area workstation clusters and completed in 7 weeks.. All new HVAC, Fire Life Safety, Fire Sprinkler, Preaction and FM-200 Fire Suppression Systems for the server room, raised computer flooring, projectors and screens, plasma tvs, non-reflective glass panels for video game

projection, and new lighting systems were installed. Project was slated for a 20 week schedule to a 12 week schedule, however, due to special constraints, Konami required to be moved in by May 1, 2006 with a start date of March 15, 2006, giving a construction schedule of 7 weeksAureus completed the project on Time and Konami moved in as scheduled.
