for the rest of the year. There is so much going on all
around us, and we just can’t believe all that God is doing.
We are preparing for our final 3 teams of the summer rush
and possibly to launch another large-scale crusade at the
end of the year.
Please pray for all of these upcoming events and for all of
the lives that God is going to impact through all of this.

We’ve Seen God Do Amazing Things in the Schools and In the Streets.
This summer the schools have been
so much fun! We have literally minis-
tered to thousands and thousands of
youth ranging from 8 years old to
about 20 years old.
All across Guatemala and El Salvador
we are seeing God impact the lives of
not only the youth in these schools
but also the faculty members as well.

I don’t know exactly how I became the designated breakfast guy, because I
NEVER cook for myself. I don’t even really know how to cook to be honest with
you, but ask anyone who knows... I can make some mean cinnamon flavored
pancakes and French toast. :)
Actually, it is pretty fun cooking every morning. It’s something that I’ve grown
to really enjoy, but once the teams are gone, I still don’t cook for myself.

One Incredible, Miraculous Healing/One Incredible, Miraculous Story!!!
This month, we hosted a youth team from Georgia, and about
halfway through their trip we visited a very special church pastored by a
good friend of Jonathan and myself. EVERY time, and I do mean EVERY
time, I have ever visited this church, I have witnessed a sheer miracle of
God before my very eyes… this visit was no different.
We entered the church at about 5 p.m. on a Tuesday, and im-
mediately I felt God’s presence. The hair on my neck stood up and I felt
a “tingling” feeling in my body as I entered the sanctuary. We were a bit
early, and no one from the church had even shown up yet, so immedi-
ately I knew God was about to do something incredible!
Through the whole service, I kept getting this feeling like we
were not there to minister to the congregation, but we were there, be-
cause God wanted to do something in “our” lives. The service contin-
ued on, and then it happened! The Spirit just fell on all of our team, and
every person was having an amazing move of God. Some of our team
members were baptized by the Holy Spirit for the first time, others were
literally knocked out cold by the power of God, and others just laid on
the floor bawling their eyes out as God stirred the hearts. The whole
time I was in this service, I was just trying to keep my composure as I
went around and prayed for people. It was one incredible move of
God!!!
Then there was Ingrid Romero, one of the team’s leaders. She
had a completely different experience/testimony after this service was
over. Ingrid came on the trip to Guatemala with some severe medical
problems. She had a bad accident and some of the discs in her spinal
cord were damaged. Because of this accident, Ingrid was in extreme
pain all the time, and she could not walk normally. She had so much
pain in one of her legs that she couldn’t bare to put weight on it as she
walked. She also sat in pain all the time, and she was unable to sleep
at night either. Because it was unbearable, the doctors in the U.S. pre-
scribed her very powerful painkillers. She brought two kinds with her,
but both were ineffective at controlling the problem.
During the service, Ingrid had an encounter with God. While
everything was happening, all of the sudden this little boy came up to
Ingrid. He was no older than 12 or 13 years old. He came up to her and
grabbed her hand as she was praying, and he said this. “I believe that I
have a word from God for you. I’ve been fasting for 43 days, and on the
23rd day God spoke to me. He told me that very soon a woman, who
was born on an island, was going to come to my church and that I am to
lay hands on her to receive a healing. I believe you are that woman.”
Ingrid was absolutely shocked to hear this, because she had
never met this boy in her entire life. All of the sudden, the little boy laid
hands on her, and she had this incredible feeling go up her legs and all
through her body. She said that sometimes you hear healing testimo-
nies and people testify to a feeling of “fire” going through their body, but
Ingrid said the feeling in her body felt like God took a needle and thread,
and he was sewing her back together on the inside. Instantly all of her
pain went away, she was able to stand up straight, and she had no prob-
lems walking around that night or for the rest of the trip. In the very

same moment that she received the healing, the
worship leader on-stage was sitting in a chair.
He testified to not really feeling much from God
that night, but all of the sudden he felt like he
was powerfully electrocuted. He said it felt like a
lightning bolt went right through his body, and
instantly he stood out of his chair as he couldn’t
handle the shock. He instantly looked at Ingrid,
and immediately he knew exactly what had hap-
pened. Some how, some way, his electrocution
and Ingrid’s healing were connected.
After the service, Ingrid was just beam-
ing!!! She was absolutely on fire. She was no
longer in pain, and she was just praising God for
all that he had done.
Ingrid and I talked at length about the
whole thing after it was over, and we both
agreed on one thing… What a cool little kid!!!
I was just astounded at what an anoint-
ing this little boy had at such a very young age. I
was so in awe that night at what God had did in
so many peoples’ lives. Then, Ingrid told me
something that was like the “icing on the cake.”
She said, “you know how that little boy said God
told him that a woman, who was born on an is-
land, is going to come to your church very soon,
and you are to lay hands on her? Doug, I was
born on the island of Puerto Rico.”
I was absolutely stunned! I was abso-
lutely on fire! This was one of those nights that
I’m sure I will never forget for as long as I live.

This is Brandon. I had to rush him to the Coolest baby purple chicken I’ve ever seen!!!
emergency room late one night to get stitches,
because he decided to try surfing for the very first
time in his life, in the dark of night. Very
intelligent! (just kidding Brandon)
Anyways, a wave he couldn’t see, hit the
surf board that he really couldn’t see either, and it
sliced him right through his lower lip. He
definitely took it like a champ though. :)
