! We have collaborated with over ten clubs including V-Day,
End Poverty Now, and IGSF. We have helped promote their
events as well as provided volunteers for their various events.
! Not only works to raise awareness about gender disparities
abroad, but it also works locally to empower women in
Quebec. We focus on issues from advancing gender roles in
corporate positions to alleviating feminized poverty and
homelessness.
! There has never been UN Women presence at McGill before
and we helped fill this gap in the McGill community

! Held at Lev Bukhman, SSMU Building
! UN Women Canada National Committee President Almas Jiwani gave a
lecture on Gender Empowerment and UN Womens role in promoting
Gender Equality in both the developing and developed world.
! Ms. Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau, Ambassador for Plan Canadas I am a Girl
Campaign, also gave her speech about the importance of womens
empowerment.
