No se utiliza el punto. Por razones de homogeneidad, se ha de aplicar la "," como separador a pesar de que la grafa inglesa utiliza el punto. Sistema Internacional Para escribir potencias de 10 a partir de 1012 se aplica la formula 106N = (N)illn. Por ejemplo: 1012=billn, 1018=trilln (1 000 000 billones), 1024=cuatrilln (1 000 000 trillones). Sistema Americano Se aplica la formula 103n=(n-1)illn Por ejemplo: 109billn, 1012trilln (1 000 billones), 1015cuatrilln (1 000 trillones).
