How to apply for a DAAD scholarship to obtain a Masters degree Program: Study Scholarships for Graduates of all Disciplines
Please note that the average of your Bachelor or Master certificate has to be at least 70% in order to apply for a scholarship. Proper German- and/or English skills are necessary, depending on your program of study. Applications have to be submitted to the DAAD central office in Bonn, Germany (on paper, not by e-mail). Please send your documents to the following address: Ms. Birgit Klaes Section 441 North Africa and Middle East DAAD - Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst Kennedyallee 50 53175 Bonn Germany Application deadline: 1 October 2013 Please apply with two sets of documents, i.e. with the authentic documents and one complete copied set. The copied set should also include copies of your Arabic documents, not only of the certified translations. Arrange all the documents (also the copies!) in the order given below. Each set of documents includes: Application form (including a photo please also use original photos in the copied forms). You find the form on the DAAD homepage http://www.daad.de/medien/deutschland/stipendien/formulare/forschungsstipendium_en.pdf Make sure you sign the form and state place and date correctly. Curriculum Vitae (signed!) Motivation letter Printout of the program description and the course list for the respective Masters program from the university website or, if available, letter of admission. Helpful website: https://www.study-in.de/en/ Recommendation letter from a professor of your home university. If possible, please use the form which you find on https://www.daad.de/deutschland/stipendium/hinweise/de/8527-formulare-unddownloads. Secondary Education Certificate Bachelor-Certificate and (if available) Master-Certificate with transcript. Attention: All certificates have to be translated into German or English and certified by the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Foreign affairs. Language certificates (e.g. ZD, TOEFL, IELTS) Working certificates and traineeships certificates, if available.

Any incomplete application or applications handed in after the deadline will not be accepted. Please take into consideration that any document handed over to the DAAD (Bonn) will not be given back, so please keep duplicates with you.
