Teaching / Learning Activities 1. Teacher greets the pupils and asks them to settle down. 2. Teacher shows a picture of animals to the class. 3. Teacher asks the pupils some questions about the picture. 4. Teacher relates their answer to the topic of the day by telling them that the animals in the picture are actually the characters in Four Friends story. 1. Teacher tells the class that they are going to act out the story. 2. Teacher introduces some words that the pupils will encounter in their dialogue for the act out activity before show them the dialogue. Teacher explains the meaning of words by doing some action. 3. Teacher asks random pupils to do action based on the words that have been taught. 4. Teacher shows the dialogue of Four Friends to the class.

Act the dialogue as a group

5. Teacher reads the dialogue and the pupils repeat after her. 6. Teacher reads the dialogue with some actions and pupils repeat after her. 1. Pupils are divided into four character groups. 2. In their group, pupils practice their line together. 3. In their group, pupils practice and try to act out the dialogue based on the character that has been assigned to them. 1. Teacher shows pupils headbands that she has prepared. 2. Teacher tells the class that they are going to produce a simple headband of the characters found in the story and they need to put up the headband while act out the dialogue. 3. Teacher gives each group different characters in the Four Friends story. 4. Teacher demonstrates steps of producing the headbands to pupils.
