We the so called intelligent species watch about an average of 9 years in our lifetime according to statistics and indeed in the

21th century, Television does pay a prodigious part in playing with our mind. Television artists do become our role models and inspire us in some way or the other. Movies play a massive role in motivating us making us believe in what we do. My idea is can be easily understood by a simple quoteThere is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophies. My brain and my heart are my temples; my philosophy is kindness. -Dalai Lama Therefore my idea Monk Federation is a step towards creating more awareness at a stage where the whole world can see us and at the same time join the hands of the giving people and the needy people. If you must have come across a TV serial named Satyamev Jayate which did a similar job of addressing the common problems in India and assisting solutions to the respective government bodies to solve the problems. This serial did open up many minds of people as well as spread awareness of drawbacks of functioning of various government departments. My idea can be said to be an improvising of this serial. I wish to start a similar serial with a bigger audience across various nations. There are many foundations, NGOs and government entities which are there to help and solve problems like untouchability/discrimination, child abuse, domestic violence, female foeticide etc. Our job is to bridge the gap between the helping companies and the areas of needs and by helping various NGOs with financial aids from foundations or companies or even the government. NGOs face tough internal challenges -- from weak leadership to organisational irrelevance, from inadequate funding to an inability to market themselves to their target audience. Most of the NGOs haven't been able to make the system work in a significant way. The donor agencies are also responsible for such a problem as they normally impose tangible targets on the NGOs they fund. Size, scale and structure are the other challenges. It's also been seen that in case of a large number of government schemes, only 2-3 per cent percolates down to the bottom. Another problem is their weak foundation. In fact, most NGOs have volunteers with good intentions, but poor management expertise. The only thing they need is more professional skills. Other need is they need to derive media attention and visibility which is important for image building. In addition an NGO has to be registered and get its annual reports/accounts approved by an independent chartered accountant. On top of these, the aiding organisations add dimensions to the existing mandatory norms. In fact, most aid organisations have their own mechanisms to ascertain the work of NGOs on the basis of parameters such as past track record, credentials, potential of the NGOs, and the kind of organisations the NGOs work with, etc. Here for NGO I also refer to Foundations and government agencies as they too face the same problems. These all problems can be can be addressed by employing national and international experts to advice for respective solution. We can have a bit of entertainment alongside with music and dance to showcase the talents of different parts of the world and to avoid monotony. Extended to the plan a website can be launched in which people or NGOs can submit their problems or their ideas. To make the program more interesting we can call upon various actors, business

typhoons and ministers. Many companies would be definitely contributing or donating amounts for their own CSR benefits and plus make their GRI sustainability report more appealing. At last I would just like to add that I have already started creating the website and but the dream of the TV serial is now ON!!
