To Whom It May Concern: I am applying for a job order position in San Jose District Hospital. I am a registered nurse with a BSN degree from Lyceum University of Batangas. I passed the Philippine Nursing Board Examination last July 2-3, 2011. I have been employed at San Jose District Hospital for a year as part of the nursing service. As a nurse, I was able to experienced assignations to the emergency room, obstetrics and gynecology, out-patient, medical-surgical, and operating room departments. I updated chart information with temperatures, blood pressure and pulse for patients. Supervised by a RN, I provided bedside care and administered daily doses of oral medications. Basic nursing care, such as feeding, grooming, bathing, dressing and moving immobile patients, under the direction of RNs, gave me hands-on nursing/patient care experience. I have learned from my on-the-job nursing, and from the patients I care for, that we are all human, all the same, and all of us will need care at one time or another. I feel blessed to be entering the nursing profession, to be in a position to help care for others and keep them safe.
