WHAT DOES STAFF RECOMMEND?
County control of 2,400 parking spaces within
four blocks of the Arena – enough parking for
about two-thirds of the events
For the remaining one-third of events
supplement these 2,400 spaces with:
Private market parking sold directly to users (1,417
daily-fee spaces within 4 blocks)
 On-street parking (963 spaces within 4 blocks)
Shuttle service to park and ride locations within
and/or outside downtown depending on the size of the
event, the time of day and day of week of the event,
and whether or not additional events are scheduled
Public coordination of private market parking and
park and ride service
