Is your description an appropriate length? Summary Have you summarized the creators purpose or argument in a clear and concise manner? Do readers understand how you discerned the purpose or argument? Do you adequately separate the issues of form and content? Analysis Have you listed and evaluated the effectiveness of the creators methods to achieve his/her/their purpose or argument? Do you back up your analytical observations with evidence? Have you distinguished between form and content? Flow and Organization Have you enticed the reader and kept the readers attention? Can the reader follow your own argument and logic throughout the essay? Clarity and Appropriateness Is your voice discernable from the creators? Have you imagined your audience appropriately?
