These classes are free for immigrants who are Permanent Residents of Canada.

ENTRY Program: Orientation and Language for Newcomers Room 400, 259 Portage Avenue, phone 204-944-0133, website: www.entryprogram.ca For newcomers to Manitoba: four-week orientation and language program including information on employment and income-related topics one-week express orientation for newcomers who are fluent in English and have busy schedules Following ENTRY, learners can attend the Winnipeg English Language Assessment and Referral Centre. Here they will receive a placement test and be given information and a referral to attend an EAL program:
