Properties :

NAoSPECTIN-100 Water Soluble Powder contains the anilbiotics lrncomycin and spectinomycin. Lincomycin is a lincosamrde antibiotic. It is bacteriostatic and is primary active against Gram-positive bacterra (both aerobic and anaerobic) ,Gram-negative anaerobic bacteria and mycoplasmas. Spectinomycin is an aminocyclitol antibiotic and is bacteriostatic and active against mycoplasma. as well as some Gram-negative organism including Escheichia coll . The combination of these two antibjotics in NAOSPECTIN-100 Water Soluble Powder have been shown to be synergistic against bacterial susceptible to lincomycin and spectinomycin.

lndications

Swine:
For treatment of enteritis caused by Lawsonia intracellularis (ileilis).

Poultry:
For the preventron and treatment of Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) associated with mycoplasma and coliform infections susceptible to lincomycin-spectinomycin.

Dosage&Administrations

Swine:

For treatment of enteritis caused by Lawsonia lnfracel/u/arls (ileitis).

10 mg of antibiotic activity per kg bodyweight per day or 0.94 grams NAOSPECTIN-100 Water Sotuble Powder per 10 liters or 150 grams per 1600 liters of drinking water; administer as the sole source oi water for 7 consecutive days. Poultry:

For prevention of Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD)

150 mg of antibiotic activity per kg bodyueight per day or 225 mg NAOSPECTIN-1OO Water Soluble Powder per kg bodyweight per day; administer as the sole source of water for the first 3 to 5 days of life.
50 mg of antibiotic activity per kg bodyweight per day or 75 mg NAOSPECTIN-1OO Water Soluble Powder per kg bodyweight per day; administer as the sole source of water |or Io 2 days during the fourth week of age or after vaccination.

For treatment of Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD)
