Primary Purpose Functions as a technical specialist or in a lead role. Under general direction, develops
and applies advanced engineering techniques, concepts and approaches to complex engineering problems. May provide technical guidance over a group or supervise engineering staff on projects of low to medium complexity. May be responsible for developing, validating, and presenting specialist/technical output.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Experience in Instrumentation and C ontrol system design which includes detailed feasibility studies, detailed project studies, basic system engineering, detail engineering, review engineering, detailed technical specification development etc. Shall be experienced in developing P&ID's, instrument index,, Instrument hook-up and wiring drawings, cable schedules, preparation of DC S database, C ontrol & Protection logics, loop diagrams, schematics, preparation of Instrument specifications/datasheets, enquiry documents, cost estimates, knowledge of multiple DC S/PLC systems shall be required. Knowledge of Foundation FIELDBUS/PROFIBUS technologies, Functional safety systems, explosion protection classification etc., will be an added advantage. Supervise a project engineering staff consisting of subordinate engineers, designers, and other assigned support personnel. This includes staff planning, work assignments, scheduling, personnel appraisals and work reviews. Develop and monitor project control systems including schedules, budgets, bills of material, etc. Effectively communicate with clients to manage and meet expectations. Oversee the coordination of engineering efforts as required to attain project objectives. C andidate shall have project lead experience of minimum 4 years and shall be capable to lead project teams. C andidate should preferably have experience of engineering of large Oil and Gas plants preferably SRU, LNG or petrochemicals. Knowledge of relevant standards is compulsory Basic knowledge of technical aspects of the proposal, procurement and other discipline preferred. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 10 years related work experience Written C ommunications, Drive For Results, Decision Quality, Priority Setting, Planning, Delegation, Directing Others, C onflict Management, Informing, Listening, Dealing with Ambiguity, C ustomer Focus, And Building Effective Teams. Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to assigned engineering discipline Intermediate knowledge of other disciplines Advanced ability to interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned.
