Meyer’s Twilight series. Want to go a step further? This pathfinder can even help you through the basic
research process for locating materials about vampires and werewolves.
References to book titles are specific to items owned by Peabody Public Library. There are many more books
in the library than are mentioned; this guide is meant to be a starting point for your search. The websites
mentioned in this document have been reviewed and are meant to be a starting point on the Internet as well and
are not meant to be inclusive.
Pleasure Reading
I read and loved the Twilight series! Now what should I read?
1. Can you think of other authors that you have enjoyed? If so, try looking up that author in our online
catalog and see what else he or she has written.
a. Open the online catalog and type in the author’s name.
b. Click on “Author”
c. If other authors show on your list, click on a title by your author. *Note: Sometimes a title will
come up under a different author. If you click the “Details” and “Catalog Record”, you may find
that your author is an “added author”. This means the book was listed only under the first
author’s name but actually was co-written by yours as well.
d. On the left you will see the options “Find more by this author”…click this to find a list more
specific to your author!
2. Are you on a vampire kick after finishing Stephenie Meyer’s books? You can also use the catalog to do
a subject search.
a. Open the online catalog and type in your chosen subject.
b. Click on “Subject” and see what you find!
c. You can also try looking under “Words or Phrase” as well as “Title”.
5. Don’t have time to search? Then check out the following books found right here at Peabody Public

If you haven’t been to Stephenie’s official website, then you are missing out! Here you will find her blog with
up-to-date information as well as tons of background information for each book. Find her suggested playlist
and even excerpts cut from the final drafts. See updates, trailers, and pictures from the movies. Read the first
part to Midnight Sun! Check out her many fan websites. Visit the location of her books and movies: Forks,
Washington.
**Heads Up! Stephenie only has one official website. She no longer has her MySpace page or any other social
networking pages. Watch out for the phonies!**

You may recall that each book was loosely based on a different literary classic. Before or while you are
rereading the series, consider reading the very books that Stephenie Meyer drew inspiration from and see if you
can identify the commonalities!
Stephenie also shares that Anne of Green Gables series by Lucy Maud Montgomery has been a big influence on
her writing.
