The Sin of Blasphemy

The Bible is the Word of God. “....No prophecy of the scripture is by any private
interpretation. ....” ( 2 Peter1 verse 20 ).

Religion cannot save anyone. Man has tried fig leaf religion , fruit of the ground religion,
golden calf religion , brasen serpent religion , Babylonian golden image religion , and all
other kinds of religion that got nothing to do “.... with the foundation of repentance from
dead works and of faith toward God ,

Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of the resurrection of the daed,
and of eternal judgement......”.( Hebrews 6 verses 1 and 2 ).

Religions of all kinds may point to the tombs of their founders with the physical remains of
the founders within.

In Jerusalem there is an empty tomb where the LORD JESUS CHRIST arose from the dead
victorious over death, hell and the grave.

“...Because He lives, we can live also....”.

The Lord Jesus Christ came to earth to bridge the way from Heaven to earth. He came to
restore fellowship between man and God. He came that we might live life ZOE LIFE IN
ABUNDANCE. ( John 10 verse 10 ).

The Bible interprets itself. The Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians Chapter 14 verse 20 and
25 :

“....20 Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in

understanding be men.

21 In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this
people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.

22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not:
but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

23 If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with
tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that
ye are mad?

24 But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is
convinced of all, he is judged of all:

25 And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his
face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth....” .

People that reject the truth turn away from the Light of God's revealed Word and walk in
spiritual darkness. They reject truth to accept a religious substitute that has no life. They
reject the truth to accept creeds and dogmas of man. They forsake grace and mercy and
place themselves under judgement. By rejecting the truth of God’s Word they judge
themselves unworthy of God’s Favour.

“....And for this cause God shall send them a strong delusion, that they should believe a lie :

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in
unrighteousness....”.( 2 Thessalonians 2 verses 11 and 12 ) .

It has been said that “.....People die, but spirits don’t die.....” . Demons move from person
to person. They move from one host to another. They were cast out of the man from the
country of the Gadarenes and went into pigs . ( See Matthew 8 verse 28 to 34 ; Mark 5
verses 1 to 17 ; Luke 8 verse 26 to 36 ).

The same dark evil spirits that possessed the Pharisees to reject the truth and the Messiah
of Israel are the same evil spirits that scoff and mock and blaspheme God's servants.

MATTHEW Chapter 12 verse 14 to 37 “...14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a
council against him, how they might destroy him.

15 But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed
him, and he healed them all;

16 And charged them that they should not make him known:

17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,

18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I
will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.

19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.

20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth
judgment unto victory.

21 And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.

22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed
him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.

23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?

24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by
Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself
is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom
stand?

27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore
they shall be your judges.

28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first
bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth
abroad.

31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men:
but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but
whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this
world, neither in the world to come.

33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit
corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the
abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil
man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account
thereof in the day of judgment.

37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. ...”.

People can sin away their day of Grace and Mercy. Blasphemy is a sin unto death. ( 1 John
5 verse 16 ).

Some people just like to fuss and argue on a foundation of sinking sand. If they knew what
eternity was about they would be more careful to stand on a sure foundation. They would
reject man made creeds and dogmas. They would reject religious tradition. They would
reject religious mumbo jumbo recited from some religious book that got nothing to do with
the Word of God. They would reject reciting religious words that got nothing to do with
eternity. They would reject the doctrines of devils.

Prayer is not some mumbo jumbo. Real prayer is from the heart. Real prayer is a dialogue
between God and man.

Prayer is not a monologue. Real prayer is man speaking to God and God speaking back to
man.

Real prayer changes a person. There is a transformation. There is a changing of attitude.

There is a change of way of life. There is a submission to the will of God. There is a
consecration and commitment to submit to the will of God.

God justifies and sanctifies and seta apart for service the honest in heart .

But when people reject the truth then they forsake their own Grace and Mercy from God.

HEBREWS 4 : “...4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have
tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to
themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs
meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:

8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing;
whose end is to be burned....”

The Lord Jesus Christ said in John Chapter 8 verses 38 to 48 :

“....38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen
with your father.

39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye
were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God:
this did not Abraham.

41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we
have one Father, even God.

42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth
and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer
from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he
speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.....”.

The Lord Jesus Christ said Matthew 10 verse 40 to 42 :

“... He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

41 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward;
and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a
righteous man's reward.

42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in
the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.....”.

The scriptures declare "...Touch not My anointed and do My prophets no harm..."

( 1 Chronicle 16 verse 22 ).

There are vessels of honour and vessels of dishonour. ( 2 Timothy 2 verses 20 and 21 ).

The sheep of God know the Voice of God. ( John 10 verse 27). God spoke to Elijah in that still
small voice. ( 1 Kings 19 verses 12 and 13 ). The truth will set you free . ( John 8 verse 32 ).

The Apostle Paul said:

“...But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but of wood and of
earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.....” . ( 2 Timothy 2 verse 20 ).

The Lord Jesus Christ in the Book of Revelations speaks to the Seven Church Ages
(Revelation Chapter 2 and 3 ). From the First to the Seventh Church Age we have the
following Church Ages :

Ephesus; Smyrna ;Pergamos ; Thyatira ; Sardis ; Philadelphia and Laodicea. The Seven
Church Age Messengers ( the seven stars held in the Right hand of The Lord Jesus Christ in
Revelation 1 verse 20 ).

“... God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That Thou mightest
be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. ...” ( Romans 3
verse 24 ).

The Bible says that there are Seven Church Ages and that there are Seven Church Age
Messengers ( Angels ) to the Seven Churches.

Great men of God , lived throughout the Seven Church Ages. The Seven Church Age
Messengers are Paul ( Ephesus) ; Iraeneus ( Smyrna) ; St.Martin (Pergamos) ; Columba

( Thyatira) ; Martin Luther ( Sardis ) ; John Wesley ( Philadelphia ) and (Laodicea ) William
Marrion Branham.

William Marrion Branham is the Seventh Church Age Messenger to the Laodicean Church

The devil is a liar . The devil has deceived the multitude. the elect are not deceived. The
elect "...see the folly of the deceiver...".

2 Timothy verse 19 : “...Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal,
The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ
depart from iniquity.....”.

The tares are being bound according to the parable about the wheat and the tares. The
tares are the children of the wicked one. The tares are serpent seed. The woman had a seed
and the serpent had a seed.( Genesis 3 verse 15 ).

God is separating the sheep from the goats. The goats are the children of the wicked one.
Cain was of the wicked one. ( 1 John 3 verse 12; Matthew 13 verse 24 to 30). The enemy
done this. (Matthew 13 verse 28; Genesis 3 verse 14).
