of Tilburg are seeking a promising young scholar to fill the following full-time vacancy PhD Scholarship in the field of Strategy and Organization Job description You prepare a PhD thesis in the field of Strategy and Organization; The PhD topic will be determined depending on your interests in consultation with your supervisors, Prof. dr. Christophe Boone and Prof. dr. Arjen van Witteloostuijn, within the scope of the broad research program of the Antwerp Centre of Evolutionary Demography (ACED). The key questions raised in this program are (1) where does demographic diversity come from, and (2) what does it imply for the behavior and performance of social entities, such as teams, organizations, industries, networks and communities. Profile and requirements You hold a masters degree in Economics, Business Economics, or equivalent, or you obtain your degree before the end of September 2013; You obtained outstanding academic results; Your academic qualities comply with the requirements stipulated in the universitys policy ( http://www.ua.ac.be/research); You are quality oriented, conscientious, creative, flexible and a team player. We offer A joint PhD scholarship at the University of Antwerp & at the University of Tilburg for a period of two years, with the possibility of renewal for another two year period after positive evaluation; The scholarship starts at September/October 1st 2013; A dynamic and stimulating work environment at two different research centers. The first two years you will work at the excellence centre ACED (University of Antwerp).
