Malala Yousafzai

A Fabricated Heroine of Pakistan

by Muhammad Umer Saeed umersaeed109@gmail.com www.facebook.com/imumersaeed Pakistanis are not a nation; unfortunately they are such a crowd amongst whom every group of people is finding a hero for them and thats the dilemma which opens windows for the game planners. The poor crowd then becomes basketball between all these players. In the current scenario according to me a remarkable drama is being directed by great producers across the border with the evergreen talent of local spot boys. By saying game planners It is meant to mention the powers that are intervening in our country for their interests and spot boys are our countrys media and NGOs. Islam doesnt prohibit women from education at all; Islam only prohibits coeducation system of men and women very strictly because it definitely leads towards seduction. Thats why this coeducation system is prohibited. I am of the view that Malalas shooting was not due to her shouts for education, but her smearing campaign against militants in the voice of western worlds game planners. Malala is innocent but despite of her innocence I want to ask that what campaign Malala launched for womens right to education that she is continuously being highlighted for her bravery for womens right to education and has already got National Youth Peace Prize (2011), Simone de Beauvoir Prize (2013), Pride of Britain, Sitara-e-Shujaat (2012), Mother Teresa Memorial Award for Social Justice (November 2012), Clinton Global Citizen Awards (2013), One of Time's "100 Most Influential People In The World" (April 2013) etc, and also the nominee for International Children's Peace Prize (2011) and Nobel Peace Prize (2013)? Taliban were fighting against US imperialism so from where and why Malala comes in it and a 14 years old girl starts writing diary in English for BBC in backward are like Sawat. In 2007, Malala was not even a teen ager. The question here is not about Malalas skills of English writing, but how it started being highlighted in national and international media gloriously and continuously? How and why this heroines fight for womens right to education emerged? When Malala was unknown to the world, Why Ziaudin (Malalas father) offered his school going girl to his journalist friend (working for BBC) for the documentary? The issue is; actually the game planners are fabricating a new heroine on Pakistani crowd, which will lead Pakistanis in many ways and will definitely help the game

planners for attaining their long term objectives. This is why national and international media is propagating so loudly as spot boys of a films set. After Jamia-Hafsa incident, Taliban in Sawat started fighting against the State initially on FM radio, then they started destroying state properties including government schools and that was part of revenge strategy. Private schools were not being targeted at that time. Malalas fathers school issue started in 2009, and that was the same school which she attended. Before 2009 Taliban attacked government properties and this started with a government girls school. Malalas fathers school remained open throughout that time before 2009 back to 2007 when Jamia-Hafsa incident took place and Taliban started intervening in Sawat. Later on, in 2009, February 15, Taliban sent an ultimatum by FM channels, that "from now onward," private schools will be closed, and no girls will be going to the schools. Girls study was an issue before that as well, because that is an issue with all these religious militants. They are not in favor of girls education. But what I am saying is that there was no bombing, there was no threat to private property in that way. It was a fight with the state and they were damaging the state property. Overall, education was not that much an issue but a strategy in 2007. In 2009, February, Taliban adopted education as a formal strategy by announcing by FM channel that from now onward, no girl will go to school. Before then the threat was there, but schools were open. Usually the threats were not that formal. To me Malala is innocent; actually the game planners needed a doll to speak all about this from which we were afraid to say or if weve said that it wouldnt have much appreciation as Malala got. Malala is not an icon, it is the media which made her an icon for players and Ziaudin (Malalas father) earned a lot in it. Now this doll is being pampered and being trained for influential role on Pakistani crowd for a long time ahead because the hijacked doll now wants to come into politics as well.
