Peter Thankyou for the advice regarding the gates. I am more concerned that the current EAP is not publicly available and that Donna emailed WBWC by email requesting an electronic copy which they have declined to forward her. Given the condition of the gates it would seem important that the current draft is available to the public on the net. Sincerely Esther

I am advised that 4 of the 5 gates are operational as previously. You should contact WBW for updates on the EAP. Peter Peter Allen Director Dam Safety DERM 0418 728 755

Peter, FW: Lenthalls Dam Lent halls Dam has not hit full supply. Can you provide an update on the current condition of the gates and their operability? Additionally Wide Bay Water Corporation in spite of Donnas requests before the weather event have not uploaded an electronic copy of the EAP onto the internet. Could you ensure this is made available as a matter of urgency Neil Collins has requested it and it is in the public interest. Sincerely

Esther Allan

From: Allen Peter [mailto:Peter.Allen@dews.qld.gov.au] Sent: Friday, 25 January 2013 3:03 PM To: Donna Cc: Guppy Ron Subject: RE: Donna, You still need to contact Fraser Coast Council as the new owner of Lenthalls Dam to discuss the latest EAP for Lenthalls. We received the most recent updated EAP (Revision 13, Version 3) for Lenthalls Dam on 7 December 2012. Peter Cares name (4194 7650) was given in the accompanying letter as the contact for us to discuss the EAP with if there were any queries. I understand that their website still had the 2011 document uploaded. The WBW staff member responsible for advising you under EAP levels F2 and F3 is still the Treatment Manager (Incident Manager) and Tony Marshall (4194 7611) has been in that position since 2011 if not before. The key 'site staff' are also as per the 2011 EAP. I note that the BoM web site is still saying that Lenthalls is about 1.1 metres below Full Supply Level and is steady. Peter, FYI Our property is permanently occupied at the moment. We are aware that there may be new management at WBWC & the new council may not understand or be as familiar with the issues regarding Lenthalls Dam failure to operate as designed as Peter Scott did when he was CEO of WBWC. Regards Donna Allan.
