HydraForce engineering includes over fifty experienced designers for cartridge valves and integrated electro-hydraulic systems. Almost one-fourth of our engineers hold Masters or PhD degrees, helping us to achieve the most advanced, innovative designs in both hydraulic and electro-hydraulic motion control applications.

On Average, HydraForce Releases: One new manifold valve assembly every four hours 150 new or modified cartridge valves per year.

QUALIFICATION TESTING
HydraForce operates ten R&D performance test stands, four endurance stands up to 480 bar (7000 psi), and a burst stand for pressures up to 2068 bar (30,000 psi). In addition, there are separate impulse, controlled temperature, vibration and contamination test stands, two environmental chambers (-75 to 200C) and linear force measurement capabilities.

New Series E water/weather-resistant coils with completely encapsulated coil windings and molded-in electrical connectors rated up to IP69K. Standard-duty solenoid valve coils are IP65 rated, with a wide range of termination and voltage options. Electronic Controllers for Proportional Valves. Precision electro-hydraulic control is one of most significant new developments in the fluid power industry. HydraForce is on the leading edge of this promising new technology with a full line of electronic drivers and controllers for hydraulic proportional valves, providing precise regulation for fan control applications, transmission controls, and innovative custom applications. Coil-mounted, panel-mounted and self-contained valve drivers are fully adjustable to match the operating range of the hydraulic proportional valve. Models are available with ramping control and independent I-min. and I-max. settings. They will work with virtually any type of control input used in the industry today, including bus systems such as CANopen or SAE J1939. HydraForce also offers custom circuit design for a single function or an entire machine.

LCD Displays/Monitors Transflective LCD displays provide real-time operating information for engine and machine variables such as engine speed, ground speed, fuel consumption, oil pressure, coolant temperature, miles driven, and more. They utilize industrystandard CAN J1939 data links, meet IP68/NEMA 13 standards for ingress protection, and are vibration hardened up to 9.8 Grms. Display options are easily customized for specific application variables.

Pressure and Position Sensors Analog and PWM low-pressure sensors are rugged, durable, are environmentally sealed and are protected against EMI/RFI. They are available in a variety of pressure ranges, and are accurate over a wide range of ambient temperatures. Steering wheel position sensors are designed for long-life reliable operation in electro-hydraulic steer-by-wire applications, and offer triple redundancy for safety, and range of operation up to 170. Rotary position sensors are environmentally sealed and fully protected against EMI/RFI.

Rugged Electronic Joystick Designed for long life under harsh operating conditions, this flange-mounted joystick uses non-contact Hall-effect sensor technology, meets EU standards for EMI/RFI resistance and is easily customized for specific applications. All internal sensors and switches are environmentally sealed. This rugged joystick is fully resistant to damage from splash contact with fuel, oil, water and cleaning solutions, and is resistant to vibration up to 9.8 Grms. Various handle configurations are available.

General-Purpose Machine Controllers Provided with customized, factory-installed programming, these rugged machine controllers accept inputs from multiple sources such as sensors and joysticks, utilizing the CAN J1939 data link standard. Digital output signals are generated to control the valves and actuators for a specific machine control system. They are short-circuit protected, environmentally sealed to IP67 standards, and resistant to vibration up to 8 Grms.
