Farmers in rural areas are having very limited access to internet for information gathering and also illiterate to understand the technical complexities but are having easy access to mobile phone due to mobile companies service penetration. Also an interactive session serving the specific purpose of the farmer is always more fruitful rather than surfing on the net for information. Use of communication technology, a single point contact for all his queries with the ease of access at minimum cost is the basic objective of the project. The farmer can access the call centre or Agricultural officer personally or through SMS or cell phone. Due to strong drive towards wireless Internet access through mobile terminals, it has become necessary to develop a handy software application for farmers for their needs as well as to serve the central data base for information dissipating call centre attendant and Agricultural officer. After weighing the advantages and disadvantages of the available solutions, a new project has been proposed. The related issues focused in the proposed work are as follows: Lack of information about the current rates of agriculture product while selling and purchasing the crops (National and International market) Suitability of soil for various crops apart from regular pattern(unawareness ) By providing environmental conditions and soil of the region. Different subsidy schemes available on fertilizers, pesticides, wells boring, pump energysation, patels distribution for general and special category farmers. Advantage: On the basis of that ,one can find out the poverty line farmers. Complaints regarding seed ,fertilizer, pesticides and agriculture officer .

Generic fertilizer in place of branded ones inform farmer about alternate fertilizer type which he does not know ,in the absence of one fertilizer other can use. Advantage :Hence on can avoid hording and inflated price of fertilizer

The solution has to be proposed to develop a mechanism to address all the issues of farmers and people from the agriculture department ,who are facing the problem in maintaining the hard copies of the data due to lack of automation . To recover these issues a new mechanism is to be added by gathering the information of each farmer like how much farm he/she has owned to ,what schemes already they have availed etc.
