SECTION VI – HEALTH HAZARD DATA
Under Normal Use Conditions: May cause irritation to eyes, skin and respiratory system.

Chronic Information: Repeated skin contact may cause persistent irritation or dermatitis.

Effects of Overexposure:
Eyes – May cause irritation to eyes.
Skin – Prolonged and/or repeated contact may cause
irritation/dermatitis.
Ingestion – Ingestion may cause gastrointestinal irritation, diarrhea, nausea
and vomiting.
Inhalation – Inhalation of vapors or mists may be irritating to the respiratory
system.
First Aid:
Eye Contact – Immediately flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15
minutes. Consult physician
Skin Contact – Immediately flush with copious amounts of soap and water for at
least 5 minutes. If irritation persists, contact physician. Remove
contaminated clothing and launder before reuse.
Ingestion – Get medical attention or advice immediately.
Inhalation – If symptoms are experienced, remove source of contamination or
move victim to fresh air. If the affected person is not breathing,
apply artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.

Respiratory Protection: If vapors are present, use a NIOSH approved respirator for
organic vapors, airline respirator or a self contained breathing
apparatus.
Ventilation: Use general. Local exhaust is suggested for use, where possible,
in enclosed or confined spaces.
Eye Protection: Chemical goggles or full-face shield
Skin Protection: Impervious gloves and suitable protective clothing.
Other Protection: Eye wash and safety shower in the work area.
Work/Hygienic Practices: Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Wash thoroughly
after handling.

HANDLING: Keep container closed when not in use. Spilled material is quite slippery on all
surfaces. Foams profusely when hit with a stream of water. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do
not use with hypochlorite bleach since skin-sensitizing sultones may form.

STORAGE: Avoid freezing and excessive heat.

SPILLS: Absorb with inert material and dispose of as solid waste. Flush area with water to
remove trace residue. Do not allow the spilled product to enter public drainage system or open
watercourses. Ventilate the contaminated area.
