Non-Commissioned Officers must maintain ultimate responsibility for the demolition systems design, ensuring the safe and efficient application of explosives. SECTION V

STUDENT EVALUATION

Testing Student will be evaluated on a written examination for the POI file number Requirements 12B30-B01 (Ref TSP 12B30-B07), 12C30-A01 (Ref TSP 12C30-A05), 12B30-B01-CET-01 (Ref TSP 12B30-B07-CET-13). Student must score 70% or higher to receive a GO. A 1 hour After Action Review will be conducted after the examination for 12Bs and CET. A 30 minute After Action Review will be conducted for the 12Cs. NOTE: Include this information also in the Student Evaluation Plan which documents course graduation requirements. The using school assigns course weight to the evaluation. Rapid, immediate feedback is essential to effective learning. Schedule and provide feedback on the evaluation and any information to help answer students questions about the test. Provide remedial training as needed. The instructor must forward problems with the TSP to the proponent.

1. You are to cut 26 trees, each with a diameter of 42 inches. M112 (C-4) blocks will be used and the charges will be placed externally and untamped. How many blocks of explosives will be required to complete the mission? 2. You are to cut 15 trees, each with a diameter of 38 inches. Dynamite will be used and the charges placed internally and tamped. How many 1/2-lb. sticks of dynamite will be required to complete the mission? 3. You are to create an abatis with 135 trees. The trees have a diameter of 29 inches. The placement of the charges will be external and untamped. M112 (C-4) will be utilized. How many packages of explosives will be required to complete the mission? 4. You are to remove 42 live stumps, each having a diameter of 22 inches. How many 1/2-1b packages of dynamite will be required to complete the mission? 5. You are to cut 9 trees each having a diameter of 27 inches. Using a ring charge of M112 (C-4) blocks, how many packages of explosives will be required to complete the mission? NOTE: Feedback Requirements Students that finish early will be given additional problems made up by the instructor.
