Thorik Achsan 23- Oct-2013 ANALOG SIGNAL Analog signal is electromagnetic signal is move based on frequency and varying

with time. Frequency is the number of vibrations alternating analog signal in one complete cycle per second. Analog signal can be used in a closed media such as coaxial cable, TV cable and copper cable. Analog signal can also be used over an open medium such as microwaves, cordless home phones and mobile phones.

DIGITAL SIGNAL signal in a digital system transfered with discrete and transmited in the form of binary bits. The binary system is the system on - off (or systems 1-0), so if there is a voltage or on value = 1, whereas when no voltage or off the value = 0.

Comparison of analog signal vs digital signal ANALOG Signal Waves Analog signal is a continuous signal wich represents physical measurements. Denoted by sine waves DIGITAL Digital signals are discrete timesignals generated by digital modulation. Denoted by square waves Uses discrete or discontinuous values to represent information Less affected since noise response are analog in nature Best suited for Computing and digital electronics. Stored in the form of binary bit Digital instrument drawS only negligible power

Representation Uses continuous range of values to represent information More likely to get affected reducing Response to accuracy Noise Can be used in analog devices only. Best Uses suited for audio and video transmission. Stored in the form of wave signal Memory: Power: Analog instrument draws large power

INTERNET The Internet (Interconection networking) is a large group of computers that are connected to each other. The Internet is used to send information quickly between computers around the world. It has millions of smaller domestic, academic, business, and government networks and websites, which together carry many different kinds of information and services. So in other words, the Internet is a network of networks. The Internet was created in the United States by the United States Department of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Start research in 1960 and was first connected in October 1969.

Wi-Fi Wi-Fi is a way of accessing networks and the internet without using wires using Radio waves. It is often found in smartphones, laptops and newer computers. To create a wireless network, a wireless router is needed. Many devices can use Wi-Fi, e.g. personal computers, video-game consoles, smartphones, some digital cameras, tablet computers and digital audio players. These can connect to a network resource such as the Internet via a wireless network access point. Such an access point (or hotspot) has a range of about 20 meters (65 feet) indoors and a greater range outdoors.

PENTIUM Pentium is a brand used for a series of x86-compatible microprocessors produced by Intel. In its most current form, a Pentium processor is a consumer-level product that Intel rates as "two stars", meaning that it is above the low-end Atom and Celeron products but below the faster Core i3, i5 and i7 lines as well as the high-end Xeon processors. First Start to sale in 22 march 1993
