    After Five Months of Attempting to Arrange a Meeting Between Mr. Costello and My Mother's Support Community ... The Director of Social Justice at the Unitarian Church in Westport spelled out exactly what he thinks of my mother's ongoing incarceration and our separation ~ supposedly protecting her from ME. But also separating her from her assets, and protecting THEM. Wouldn't her private doctors and therapists and her congregation have any inkling of it, if I were a danger to my own mother? After taking care of her at home for so many years? In FIVE MORE MONTHS out of my mother's precious life, after three years of her captivity, Attorney Kieran Costello did not hold a single meeting with her family ~ her pre-designated Conservator ~ and her congregation and other support community, to discuss plans for her transfer to home care, in place with two state agencies since July 2012. Just saying. FIVE MONTHS is a long time.

    Dear Mr. Costello, I watched the Probate Court Judge debate between you and Lisa Wexler. You said, The Probate Court is responsible for making sure that the wishes of decedents are respected I doubt that you would disagree that the wishes of the living should be equally respected. Dorothy Partchs wishes have not been for going on 3 years. She very explicitly stated that if she were to need a Conservator that her daughter Marjorie be appointed. Do you have any question regarding Dorothys wishes? There is the law and there is justice and sometimes the law is used to obstruct justice. I think the true character of a judge is how he or she balances the two. So far the balance has been heavily weighted against Dorothy. When will she have justice? David Vita
