d to apply JOB PURPOSE: To manage and control the Water Quality at Zwartkopjes and to assist the Senior Process Supervisor and Supervise the Electrical Plant and equipment KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Operation of disinfection (Chlorine and Ammonia injection system). Monitoring of Water Quality by ensuring compliance with the Production Water Quality Guidelines. Safety & Housekeeping of Electrical and Disinfection Plant. Supervisory of Process Controller Assistant and plant equipment. Communicate with the Senior Process Supervisor efficiently and effectively on water quality matters and pumping Manage and control of shifts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: N3 or equivalent with Maths & Science and/or recognised prior learning in Water Treatment. Mechanical or electrical knowledge and/or experience will serve as an advantage. A valid code 08 Drivers Licence as well as the ability to pass Rand Water K53 Test. Willing to work a four-shift cycle. Knowledge of Computer essential (Opstat, SCADA, etc) 3 years plant experience as Process Controller Pumping. Blue Drop Requirements: Ability to be Accepted as a Class 1 Operator Knowledge Occupational Health, Safety & Hygiene Pumping processes Mechanical and/or electrical plant. Pump sequencing Water Quality processes Basic knowledge and application of: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 Basic knowledge of OHS Act and its application Skills Good Communication Written communication Analytical Skills to do fault finding and problem solving Administrative Skills Computer literacy Good housekeeping Supervisory skill Ability to manage plant trips Behaviour Safety consciousness whilst ensuring plant reliability. Customer orientation. Self discipline Punctuality Speed
