Validated Training Course Materials for Teachers Professional Development

What?

Three validated and open teacher training courses:

Interactive Whiteboards (IWB): the pedagogical use of IWBs in the interactive classroom; eSafety (eS): for teachers and students in the classroom, in the school and beyond; Future Classroom Scenarios (FCS): teaching and learning activities for the future classroom.

For whom?

The courses are aimed at secondary school teachers. The course materials are designed to be delivered by expert trainers, e.g. teachers trainers (individuals and organisations), teacher associations and local authorities concerned about their teachers professional development.

Why?

All courses are:


Validated: Designed and tested by a pan-European team of experts and teachers from Finland, Norway, Italy, and Portugal, and piloted with teachers from across Europe. Modular: Flexible course structure to pick and choose from modules according to local priorities. Practical: Lots of practical activities and ideas for the teacher in the classroom. Free: All content is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike 3.0 Unported License, allowing commercial use. The content is in English, open to be translated and localised. Complete: Designed to be led by an expert trainer, with a comprehensive Trainer Guide and support content for each course.

CPDLab course outlines


The outlines show the ve-day courses delivered in summer 2013 to teachers receiving Comenius in-service training grant. Each course is modular, with the exibility to select different modules according to local needs and priorities.
