Nov. 3, Sun.-Gap Mens Chorus will be at East Cocalico Church of the Brethren at 7 p.m.,4 Bunker Hill Rd , Reamstown . Nov. 4, Mon.-A community monthly prayer time has recently been started and all area churches are invited to attend. These are held on the first Mon. evenings of each month from 7-8pm. Dec. 1, Sun.-Centennial Celebration Sunday - Though Gehman Mennonite Church was formed well before 1913, this year, 2013 marks the 100th Anniversary of the building at it's present location. (There was an earlier building across the street.) Bishop J. Carl Sensenig, retired Bishop Luke Horst, Historian, Lillian Weber, and Pastor Phil Horning will each participate in leading this worship service remembering and thanking God for His faithfulness. Photos of our church family and facility will be shared along with a variety of congregation singing over this time period. Dec. 9 & 10, Mon. & Tues.-You are invited to attend Old Fashioned Christmas Carol Singings led by Don Sensenig, Akron, at the 1855 Alleghany Mennonite Meetinghouse at 7 p.m. Contact Grace Sensenig (336-0009) to reserve free tickets. -We want to thank you all for the meals, visits, cards, prayers and encouragement during Mildreds hospital experience. Interested youth, 12 years or older, who might be interested in joining the program are welcome to attend this meeting.
