OUR LEADERSHIP
We believe that this true church ought to be governed according to the spiritual order that our Lord has taught us in his Word. There should be ministers or pastors to preach the Word of God and administer the sacraments. There should also be elders and deacons, along with the pastors, to make up the council of the church. Belgic Confession, article 30

WELCOME!
We are delighted that you are here with us today. Our hope is that your understanding and love of Jesus Christ will grow because of your visit. If you are traveling, we pray your journey will be upheld by Gods hand. If you live in the community help us get to know you better by filling out a visitor card, which is next to the bulletin you picked up on the way in. If you would like to learn more about the OURC we encourage you to help yourself to an information brochure in the foyer. To dig deeper into our history and theology, take a copy of Welcome to a Reformed Church. To dig deeper into what we do in worship and why we do it take a copy of What to Expect in Reformed Worship. Pastor Danny is also eager to meet up with you to get to know you better and to discuss your questions. Please contact him at 760.803.0981 or pastor@oceansideurc.org. WHAT DO I DO WITH MY CHILDREN? As a church we believe the Scriptures teach that the church is a community of adults and children who are all in covenant with God. This means children are welcomed in worship to make a joyful noise to the LORD (Ps 100:1). The praises and noises of Jesus little ones fills our service. We accept this as members of the church because we are also members of each other (Rom 12:45; 1 Cor 12:12 27). We understand this is a different way of worshipping as you may be used to some form of childrens church. For this reason we do provide a nursery in the classroom outside the sanctuary and down the stairs towards the beach. You may also use the foyer as a cry room. If youre not sure what to do, ask us; we are here to help.

name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven; give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
!RESPONSIVE PRAYERS
Make haste, O God, to deliver me. O Lord, make haste to help me.Psalm 70:1
restore us, as we are penitent, according to your promises declared unto us in Christ Jesus our Lord; and grant, O most merciful Father, for his sake, that we may hereafter live a godly, righteous, and sober life, to the glory of your holy Name. Amen. !DECLARATION OF FORGIVENESS
yet God, without any merit of mine, of mere grace, grants and imputes to me the perfect satisfaction, righteousness, and holiness of Christ, as if I had never had nor committed any sin, and myself had accomplished all the obedience which Christ has rendered for me; if only I accept such benefit with a believing heart.
