FRG Updates
Our Fearless FRG is looking to add another to their group to fill the position of treasurer. This is a great opportunity to become a part of an amazing organization dedicated to helping fellow Navy families. Remember, this experience would make an excellent addition to any rsum. The FRG board will be th conducting interviews on November 12 at the Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC). Please let them know if you have any questions and/or interest in becoming part of the board. Fright Night was a huge success for the FRG! Thanks to all that contributed donations, volunteered their time and stopped by the table. Keychain sales are still going on. See the FRG Facebook page for fabric/design options and pricing. Cleaning out the clutter before the holidays? Consider donating those items to the FRG to be sold during the base-wide yard sale. Donations will be accepted until th November 15 at 1700. The yard sale will be held on th November 16 from 0800-1300 (1pm). Volunteers to help sell items will earn a point toward the 72 liberty leave. One November 15 , the FRG will be selling lunch outside of NMCB 74s spaces from 1030-1230. $5 will get your Seabee or Sailor a burger, chips and a drink. Want to help out? This event will get you another point toward the 72 liberty leave. If you dont receive the FRG emails, you are missing out! Contact the board to be added to their email distribution list.

Deployment Readiness
As the days keep passing, we are drawing closer to the final 74 deployment. Preparation is key in limiting stress CNIC HQ has developed a series of webinars specifically designed to help Navy families adjust to the challenges of deployment. These 60 minute webinars will provide Sailors and family members with the knowledge, resources and tools to promote and enhance family resilience. Sailors and Family Members wishing to attend the webinar should follow the instructions below: 1. Open Internet Explorer on your computer. Click on the following link: http://zeiders.adobeconnect.com/deploymentfamilies/ 2. Type your name in the box next to the "Enter as a Guest" label. 3. Click the "Enter" button. The classroom will open in a new screen window. This is a pop-up window, so you may have to disable the pop-up blocker security setting for this instance. NOTE: To enter the Adobe classroom, you must have the most up-to-date version of Adobe Flash player installed on your computer. If you get prompted to do this upon entry, simply click "Yes" to install/update automatically. This is a quick install/update.

October was fire safety and prevention month. If you havent already, this is a great time to change the batteries in your smoke alarms as well as work out and practice your home safety plan. Get your children involved and practice what you all should do in the event of a fire.
