A TRILOGY OF TERROR WHAT BECAME OF THE MYSTERIOUS NEW AGE FIGURE KNOWN AS MICHAEL X? If you have been following what is roughly known as the UFO, New Age communities you would probably have heard of the mysterious figure known as Michael X as he was known as one of the great avatars of the early Flying Saucer-Contactee movement of the 1950s. He spoke with great articulation and sincerity at many of the well attended outdoor conventions held annually at Giant Rock, a private landing strip just out of Joshua Tree in the hot Mojave Desert of Southern Calif. He spoke calmly and collectively about the arrival of the silvery spaceships, dubbed flying saucers, explaining how they were piloted by friendly space beings from this solar system and way beyond. On a mission of peace and harmony, Michael hailed the arrival of the Space Brotherhood whom he believed were materializing here to offer assistance in any way possible to elevate our consciousness to a more harmonious one. Their goal? Allowing us to join the cosmic league of nations, a federation of spiritually advanced worlds who exist all around us in this and other dimensions, whether we believe it or not! I guess you could call Michael X a guru of sorts, though he didnt head a religious cult nor was he looking to attract a fanatical following in the manner of other more self absorbent masters of universal wisdom. No! Michael X was an avatar in the true sense of the word an advocate for all of humanity. So that he didnt become part of a cult of personality, Michael refused to reveal his last name but added the X after his first name as sort of a symbol that represented all of the mysteries of our world and the space and time we inhabit, even if we had not officially acknowledged the legitimacy of others hobnobbing among the stars.

If one owned a complete collection of Michael Xs monographs, which I estimate Cover Art By Tim Swartz number around 25 and were self published by his Futura Press from roughly 1956 through the late 60s or early 70s, one might be able to put together some incomplete biographical notes. We know that Michael Barton was residing in Los Angeles when he found his life changed when his best friend Jim became very ill with a condition that baffled the best doctors. While meditating over his buddys deteriorating circumstance, Michael found he was able to receive telepathic communications beamed to him from more advanced cosmic souls. Not wanting to alienate his business clients, but desperate to get the information he had collected out to a growing number of adherents in UFO and New Age philosophy, he began to self-publish courses and monographs under the pseudonym of Michael X. I do not know if Michael X is still with us or not. If he is I know he will not be resentful of the fact that we have decided to compile and reissue some of his most vital writings for an entirely new generation to consume and gain knowledge from. INSIDE INFORMATION But, as it turns out, Michael Xs career was not only involved with the sweetness and light aspects of the New Age movement, but he had stumbled upon the darker side of UFOlogy which frightened him so much that he eventually left behind the work he loved so much. Stranges author of Stranger at the Pentagon and a fairly good friend of Michaels. They promised to reveal some information that had not been disclosed before that would be helpful in the dissemination of his work. Michael was sent to an out of the way place in the Mojave Desert where they could be secluded from others who might see their landed ship and turn them in. strangeness, time distortions, apparent abduction experiences with nonhumans. With some triangle encounters you get what other times happens with UFO craft. So it makes me wonder that yes, we are probably building some triangles. But I would stop short of saying that we are building ALL of the triangles. A SPOOKY BREAKAWAY CIVILIZATION One of the ideas Ive been kicking around for the last few years is that of a breakaway civilization. I think that this is something that is real. Now my theory of it is that it originated really in post-World War II society, but theres nothing preventing such a thing from having happened earlier. This is not such a radical idea. In our own official world history, you go back 200 years and compare levels of technology from Europe to say Central Africa and youre talking about two vastly different ways of understanding the world. I dont think its outrageous, and I do think that this has happened since World War II. Now one of the breakthroughs that theyve made is in what we could call antigravity technology. When you look at some of the really puzzling mysteries of our ancient world, whether its the Great Pyramid of Giza or Machu Pichu, there are elements of those and other architectural sites that have been left behind that to me at least dont make a whole lot of sense in the context of human society as it then was supposed to have existed. The Great Pyramid doesnt make sense to me in terms of 2,500 years ago ancient Egyptian culture. And I wonder if this was a human construct at the time and what human civilization are we talking about here? So I leave open the possibility that some great secret would be understood by a very small, elect group of people. A guy named Chris Gibson, who used to compete in aircraft recognition contests. Theyd flash a picture of an aircraft at you for a couple of seconds and youd have to identify it. This guy saw a perfect triangle in a refueling operation with a KC-135 and a couple of F-111s accompanying it. And the guys adamant. A witness like that is someone its very tough to refute. So I think weve been building triangles for a while. And it would seem to me that that would be one of the core parts of the secret space program, the triangular craft. The only thing that makes me wonder that some of these triangles arent ours is that, just like with other elements of the rest of the UFO phenomenon, people have encountered some of these triangular craft, and there seems to be a great deal of high strangeness, even with these triangles.
