Sensex down by 0.75%@20666.15pts,Nifty down by 0.75%@6140.75pts prov. European indices FTSE, DAX & CAC were down by 0.03% to 0.48% prov. NASDAQ was up by 1.60%, Dow Jones Ind. Avg. was up by 1.08% resp. Sensex down by 156.62pts @ 20666.15pts & Nifty down by 46.50pts @ 6140.75 pts . The BSE Sensex posted its worst weekly decline since August as it lost 2.7 percent in a holiday-truncated week. After posting a near double-digit return last week, SBI was the worst Sensex performer in the week ending Nov. 8. The stock lost 7.5 percent ahead of earnings announcement on Nov. 13.
