The American Chamber of Commerce in Romania (AmCham Romania) is a non-profit and non-political organization that promotes the commercial and economic interests of U.S., international and local business community in Romania.

Established in 1993 by American investors in the country, it is now one of the 115 international AmChams in 102 countries affiliated to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, based in Washington D.C., and a member of the European Council of the American Chambers of Commerce (ECACC). Currently, AmCham has over 300 members, consisting of major U.S., foreign and local enterprises doing business in Romania, as well as small and medium-sized firms and business executives in the country, who support and abide by the policies of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The association is entirely autonomous, with no subsidy from any government body, and relies on income from membership dues and other activities.

The AmCham Master Brand is represented by the AmCham Master Brand Logo, reffered to as the AmCham Logo. The AmCham Logo is displayed to best effect when positioned in clear space, which helps to protect the integrity and enhance the visual impression of the AmCham Logo.

Safety zone
The AmCham Logo should never be overcrowded by or linked to other elements that will reduce its legibility and visibility. The amount of clear space varies in direct proportion to the size of the AmCham Logo. The preferred clear space is 50% of the height of the AmCham Logo. The minimum clear space is 25%.

Colors
It is essential that the identity colors are always reproduced accurately. A printed color will vary in hue and density according to the surface it is printed on. To overcome this, the colors should be matched. To get the closest color match, ensure that the Pantone color samples provided by the Design department always are used for visual matching. Fonts
Hypatia Sans was chosen for its modern yet timeless appearance as well as its ability to fit within different circumstances. Can be used for all kind of type setting like headlines, running text and quotations. Used both offline and online. When used online, do not rely on end-user having this typeface installed. Another accepted font family is Segoe UI. The Segoe UI family provide a wide range of typefaces that offer enough variety for multiple type needs, from ultra bold headlines to easy-to-read body text. Segoe UI is recommended for office use.
