B" MEDICAL MANAGEMENT 0" The company shall adopt the -.T/ strategy in the management of wor%ers with tuberculosis" TB case finding! case holding and 1eporting and 1ecording shall be in accordance with the Comprehensi e 2nified $olicy (C2$) and the National Tuberculosis Control $rogram" 3" The company shall at the minimum refer employees and their family members with TB to pri ate or public -.T/ centers" C" SOCIAL POLICY )" Non2d&(+#&m&na%o#y Pol&+y and P#a+%&+e( a" There shall be no discrimination of any form against employees from pre to post employment! including hiring! promotion! or assignment! on account of their TB status" ()4. :" *nsure confidentiality of the health status of its employees and the access to medical records is limited to authorized personnel" ;" The *mployer! through its 7uman 1esources -epartment! shall see to it that their company policy and program is ade,uately funded and made %nown to all employees" 8" The 7ealth and /afety Committee! together with employees+ labor organizations shall <ointly re iew the policy and program and continue to impro e these by networ%ing with go ernment and organizations promoting TB pre ention" B" Employee(5 Re(pon(&-&l&%&e( 0" The employee&s organization is re,uired to underta%e an acti e role in educating and training their members on TB pre ention and control" 3" *mployees shall practice non'discriminatory acts against co'wor%ers" 9" *mployees and their organization shall not ha e access to personnel data relating to a wor%er&s TB status" :" *mployees shall comply with uni ersal precaution and the pre enti e measures" " IMPLEMENTATION AND MONITORING The /afety and 7ealth Committee or its counterpart shall periodically monitor and e aluate the implementation of this $olicy and $rogram" I" E44ECTI ITY This $olicy shall ta%e place effecti e immediately and shall be made %nown to e ery employee"
