Congressman Allen West Formally Endorses Ellen Andel for Congress

West states: The American people are not looking for any more fancy politicians. Theyre not looking for any more millionaires and billionaires. Theyre looking for people that can go and reflect their values.
November 13, 2013 (Palm Beach Gardens, FL) - Former Congressman LTC Allen B. West officially announced his endorsement of Ellen Andel for Floridas 18th Congressional District, at an Andel fundraiser at the home of Michael and Adrienne Papa on Friday evening, November 8th. At the reception, Allen West spoke emphatically on the challenges facing the nation and cemented his support for Andel as the person that I wholeheartedly support and that I endorse personally. My wife Angela and I are going to stand behind Ellen Andel and we hope and pray that each and every one of you will do the same, and a year from now, we will be talking about the new Representative from Congressional District 18, the Honorable Ellen Andel." West affirmed that, The American people are not looking for any more fancy politicians. Theyre not looking for any more millionaires and billionaires. Ellen Andel was elected in March 2009 to serve on the Juno Beach Town Council. She serves as Vice Mayor Pro Tem, after being selected for this position by her fellow Councilmen in 2010. Born in West Palm Beach and raised in northern Palm Beach County, She graduated from Cardinal Newman High School and attended Princeton University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and was a member of the Womens Track Team. She won the Gold Medal in the 60 meter hurdles at the 2012 USA Masters Track and Field Championships. She currently resides in Juno Beach with her husband, Ladi, their two daughters, Sophia and Anna.
