Initially default.rgb is a standard palette with a WHITE background. The background color and palette can be customized using the Color Manager. From the Maxwell Control Panel, choose UTILITIES and then COLORS. END B_PC_ONLY B_VAL WRITE_ALWAYS Default_X Default placement of the left edge of the executable window. END

B_VAL WRITE_ALWAYS Default_Y Default placement of the top edge of the executable window. END B_VAL WRITE_ALWAYS DefaultWidth Default width of the executable window. END B_VAL WRITE_ALWAYS DefaultHeight Default height of the executable window. END B_VAL WRITE_ALWAYS FontFace Font to use for text in the executables. To see the list of available fonts: From the Start menu go to Settings/Control Panel. Double click on 'Fonts' to see the available fonts. Most of the available fonts are not fixed-pich, and may compromise the appearance of the software. The 'Courier New', 'Letter Gothic', and 'Lucida Sans Typewriter' font families are all fixed pitch. END B_VAL WRITE_ALWAYS FontHeight Font size to use for text in the executable. END E_PC_ONLY

B_DIR SUGGEST_DEFAULT ConfigDir Sets the location of the 'config' directory. The 'config' directory stores user preferences and data set by the software. Changing the location of this directory will also affect the location of the sub-directories: 'macros', 'colors', 'maxwelldb', 'parts', and 'symbols'. This variable will not appear in the resource file if its default value is used. END B_DIR SUGGEST_DEFAULT UserMacros Sets the location of your personal macros directory. This directory is automatically searched when the software is looking for a macro. This variable will not appear in the resource file if its default value is used. END B_DIR SharedMacros Sets the location of an optional macro repository shared by multiple users. This directory is automatically searched when the software is looking for a macro. END

B_DIR SUGGEST_DEFAULT ColorDir Sets the location of the 'colors' directory. This is the directory where the .rgb color files are stored. This variable will not appear in the resource file if its default value is used. END B_DIR SUGGEST_DEFAULT MaterDir Sets the location of the 'maxwelldb' directory. This directory stores user defined materials. This variable will not appear in the resource file if its default value is used. END B_DIR SUGGEST_DEFAULT PartsDir Sets the location of the 'partsdb' directory. This directory stores Spice models exported from Maxwell Spicelink or Ansoft High Frequency Structure Simulator. This variable will not appear in the resource file if its default value is used. END B_DIR SUGGEST_DEFAULT SymbolDir Sets the location of the 'symboldb' directory. This directory holds the screen shots corresponding to the models in the 'partsdb' directory. This variable will not appear in the resource file if its default value is used. END B_DIR SUGGEST_DEFAULT ScriptDir Sets the location of the 'trn' directory. This variable will not appear in the resource file if its default value is used. END B_UNIX_ONLY B_VAL HardcopyConfig Sets the location of the .prn file to use for printing. END E_UNIX_ONLY B_DIR PicData Used by the ParICs product. This variable tells ParICs where to find the various package master descriptions. This is ordinarily a directory where the user has read and write permissions, such as ~/Maxwell/pardata. END

B_DIR PicPath Used by the ParICs product. This is the location of the various ParICs executables. Typically this is a subdirectory of your Ansoft software installation directory, such as /usr/ansoft/parc3. END
