Features, Advantages, and Benefits

The 3M General Use Filter Bag features a multi-layered
polyolefin construction that provides clean, uniform, efficient
filtration at high flow rates in both low and high viscosity
liquids.
The bag comes in four nominal micron sizes to satisfy a wide
variety of filtration needs. A plastic collar/handle allows for
quick and clean filter changeouts and is designed to fit into
most existing bag housings. The large amount of surface area
provided by the layers of polyolefin media result in high oil-
holding capacities.

Materials of Construction
Filter Media:
Multi-layered polyolefin filter media
provides high particle removal efficiency
for high quality filtration with broad
chemical compatibility.
No silicone is intentionally used in
materials of construction or in
manufacturing.
The raw materials composing these filters
are FDA compliant according to CFR
Title 21.

The 3M General Use Liquid Filter Bag can be used in fluids with widely ranging viscosities. Pressure drop through
the filter bags should always be monitored and should not exceed 35 psid.
