Quantity Surveyor

Job Profile: You will be involved in the following commercial tasks: Change Management, collation, completion and agreement of applications for payment, managing sub-contractor accounts, collating information for project reporting, assisting administration of project budget. Reporting to Commercial Manager. Areas of responsibility: Preparation and management of the project budget. Procurement of subcontractors and agreement of contract conditions. Commercial control of subcontract packages. Value and agree the cost of any variations. Estimate build up costs for each element of the work, identify labour, material requirements and source and obtain quotations where applicable. Applicants profile: 5 years+ Quantity Surveying experience * Able to deal with pressures of fast paced environment. * Preferred degree qualified or similar. * Excellent attention to detail. * Understanding of NEC3 essential. Proven track record in a surveying role. Dealing with sub-contractors and clients. Good Commercial attitude. Excellent communication & management skills. Good computer skills in Microsoft Office .
