Accordion Fold Pocket Book with Tags Tutorial

The first thing you'll need to do is pick out five sheets of 12X12 sheets of paper. I used double sided scrapbook paper, it tends to be thicker.

Cut 3 of the 5 papers in half, making 6 sheets of 6X12. Fold each of these in half, each half should be 6X6. That is also the dimensions of our finished pro!ect. "pen folded sheets back up. #ou $ill use 5 of these folded papers to assemble the book, sa%e the 6th for later.

strong adhesi%e, like double sided tape along the bottom, both sides, and creases of both papers. ,eep the adhesi%e as close the edges of the paper as possible.

0lace ou papers back in our arrangement, line up edges and press firml into place. #our accordion fold pocket book has no$ been assembled1 &f ou $ould like to add a ribbon closure, do so no$. & like to use a 2lue -ot to attach the ribbon to the front and back pieces of papers. Then to make sure it reall $on/t go an $here, & add a piece of scrapbook tape o%er the ribbon.

3emember that 6th 6X12 sheet of paper & said to hold on to4 Cut it in half, making 2 6X6 pieces. Cut each do$n to 5X5. The need to be smaller than 6X6 so the can slide in and out easil and not get stuck on the adhesi%e ou used to make the pockets. 6ine are appro'imatel +.75X5.25, $ith rounded edges. 8efore adding tabs for eas remo%al, test our tag si9e to make sure the slide in and out of pockets easil .

8elo$ are some detail pictures of the front side of the book. &t/s all read for pictures to be added on top of the photo mats. The cardstock mats could also be used for !ournaling.

-on/t forget about the backside of the book1 &t needs some decoration too. *ee those ello$ strips of paper $ith lemons4 Those $ere sa%ed from cutting the 6X6 sheets do$n to 5X5 for hiding the ribbon closure.
