ASKER 2014

THE YWCA-YMCA GUIDES AND SCOUTS OF NORWAYS NATIONAL JAMBOREE, NORWAY 2nd TO 9th OF AUGUST

Can you imagine the buzzing atmosphere when 8000 committed Guides and Scouts come together on the national Jamboree next summer? The motto for the jamboree is Tett p, which means close or up close. At Asker 2014 you will get a chance to get close to other Guides and Scouts from different cultures, close to God and close to engaging causes. You will be given the opportunity to show the world that Guides and Scouts care about the environment both locally and globally. We will show everyone that it is fun to be environmentally aware, and that it is exciting getting involved with causes beyond your own backyard. The National Jamboree is one of the biggest events you can experience as a Guide or Scout, so add the 2nd to the 9th of August 2014 to your calendar now! You will get a real Jamboree experience together with your patrol. You will sleep in a tent, make your dinner over an open fire, participate in campfire gatherings, go on an exciting hike and get new friends. You can build large pioneered towers and explore the beautiful nature of the Jamboree site. There will also be fun campfires where the band TV Experience will make you want to dance. Furthermore, you will get the possibility to meet an engaged couple who are getting married at the Jamboree. Start looking forward to this and to many other fun activities that you would expect to find at a Jamboree. Asker 2014 will give you experiences that will last a lifetime. We look forward to seeing you there!
