students from Nanyang Technological University and are currently conducting a survey to
understand the impact of risk attitude on decisions made by soccer (English football) supporters
under various scenarios . We will appreciate if you could spend about 10 minutes to complete
this survey questionnaire. Your identity remains strictly anonymous and confidential. Thank you.

I will purchase a policy plan offered (for the
whole season) by an insurance company
such that:
(a) For the team I support, it gives a payout
I2 each time it loses in a season 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
(b) The premiums are fairly determined by
the choice of my supported team (i.e.
supporters of stronger teams pay lower
premiums than supporters of weaker teams)
I feel traitorous if I purchase an insurance
I3 policy that gives a payout each time my 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
supported team loses.

I feel traitorous if I place a bet on my

supported team to lose.
I will place bets on other EPL matches not
B7 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
involving my supported team.
I would adopt the following strategy:  Yes No
Bet on my team to lose so that if my team If No, state why:
B8 loses, I would have monetary compensation I am always hoping for a miracle to happen,
for the disappointment felt. and that’s not how a fan behave
