Black. The voices play out from a radio. MALE REPORTER 124 years on and the Dawson inquiry continues. The jury is equally split. We spoke to a representative of Dawson aut the case. DAWNSONS REPRESENTATIVE Whilst this case could be on going, one thing I deem crucial to the case is the decision wether or not to incarcerate Mr Dawnson. Its ironic really? MALE REPORTER Ironic? DAWNSONS REPRESENTATIVE Mr Dawson is looking at a life sentence. In this case that could be a very large drain on resources. The irony comes from the fact that the "criminal act", is a possible reason that life imprisonment may not be a wise decision financially. MALE REPORTER Wasnt it reported that Mr Dawson was facing 22 life sentences? DAWNSONS REPRESENTATIVE That is true. But is that really the case anymore? The man is 168 years old and fit as fiddle. Fade in. 1 INT. KITCHEN OF A LARGE HOUSE - EARLY EVENING There is a small radio on the countertop. 23 people sit around a large table and scattered around the kitchen on worktops, floors, etc. A teenage boy around the age of 16 shouts above the noise. HARRY David! A young man in his late 20s looks up from his meal and stares at the young boy. 1

DAVID What do ya want you old bastard? HARRY Turn that bloody racket off would you? I, fed up hearing about that asshole Dawson. Harry leans down the counter and switches off the radio. He then picks up his dinner and continues to eat. DAVID If you hadnt of stolen those bloody mess you wouldnt be around to hear it and we wouldnt be in this mess. A woman around the same age as David yells at him. MARIA David, watch it. Leaves gramps alone. An older man in his 40s yells across the room. GARRY Watch it. Im your damn grandpa. Not Harry. Hes my bloody great grandpa. Silence is restored and everyone carries on eating. David provides a voice over. DAVID (V.O) 5 generations under one roof. You might say its crowded, but theres a lot less of us than other families. Thats immortality for you. Moral of the story, always read the fine print. Damn old bastard stole a couple tabs of the first over the counter sales. Damn idiot got stuck looking like a teenager. You might think hes lucky. But hes not. None of us our.
