y Purpose of survey: Input from the community


{ 2009 – The Town of Frisco contracted with Venturoni Surveys &
Research, Inc. to survey three segments of the community (Voters,
Homeowners and Businesses). Random sampling techniques were
employed.

Survey Instrument & Methodology

Homeowners and Voters:

y 1st Mailing
{ Survey respondents received a letter in the mail encouraging
them to go on-line and fill out the survey. They were given the
web page and an identification number.
y 2nd Mailing
{ Anyone who did not respond to the 1st mailing, received a
reminder letter, survey form, and stamped, addressed return
envelope.
y The same survey instrument was used for both samples
y 115 questions total
Survey Instrument & Methodology

Frisco Businesses:

y 1st e-mail
{ Business contacts received an e-mail inviting them to
participate in the survey. They were given an identification
number and a link to click on to go directly to the survey.
y Reminder e-mails
{ Anyone who did not respond to the 1st email, received up to
three reminder e-mails encouraging them to respond.
y The business survey had 17 questions total
