Life is becoming more and more stressful. Whether we are at school, university or work, there is a growing pressure on us to increase our efforts, to succeed, to outdo others. We are also feeling the strain in the little spare time we are allowed, as leisure activities become ever more intense and often more competitive.

To stress or not to stress? It is said that peoples life in the 21st century is becoming more and more stressful due to different reasons. The most important are the process of industrialization and the rapid development of hi-tech. Apart from that, it is also important the lifestyle: HOW people live. Is it healthier to live surrounded by stress? Does it make a difference for humanity? The acceleration of industrialization and the prosperity of economy benefit our society in a great deal. But with the speeding up of economic development, people are facing more and more pressure from various aspects of their life. One of the major causes is that peoples living rhythm has been promoted immensely with the upgrading of new-knowledge and hi-tech. To keep abreast with the society, on the one hand, people have to work intensively and, on the other, improve their knowledge. The fierce social competition deprives people of their spare time and makes their life more stressful. Another factor comes from the pressure of peoples family. In the current society, adults have to shoulder the responsibility of family maintenance. People have to care for their parents and give them a happy and comfortable life. In addition to this, they have to give their children good education. So in order to earn more money, people have to work very hard to finance their family and all its needs. These kinds of pressures are not good for our health, so one way of avoiding it is practising sport. If people live under heavy pressure, they will have serious health problems, both physically and psychologically. To relieve the pressure, the best suggestions are feasible and practical. Firstly, it is suggested to go in for some sports games in the spare time or at the weekend. Sports can build up peoples physique and make them vigorous. Secondly, the communication is important, too. People should frequently communicate with others and confess their troubles. This is a very magic way to release ones pressure. stress in humans because they also become stressful even in their free time. This clearly happens because the new generations are now being prepared to increase their efforts in every aspect of their life, which it is good to a limited extent. Finally, persons have to find a balance between money and health. Otherwise, ones health will be overdrawn and spoiled by money earning. To sum up, everybody knows that living under constant pressure is not good for nobody. Even though, there are some people who cannot stop and those who cannot find the perfect life balance. So that, it is true to say that there is no recipe to follow and try to have a balanced life, but I may conclude that a good life should not be obtained at the price of the deterioration of ones health. People should improve their living pattern and lead a life of high quality.
