The Transcripts of Evil

Mark found himself in a dimly lit wooden room furnished with antiques. An entrepreneur in his late 20s, he was more intrigued than unnerved. He was not bound, nor gagged; what was apparent that someone had been meticulously planning the whole abduction.

Its best to wait, he thought to himself. You dont go to all the trouble and then just abandon your prey. Its probably the competition trying to scare me into submission. Mark heard a robotic voice. The voice appeared to be female and spoke with acomputerized Standard American accent. The message was clear.

Hello. Pick a card in the middle of the room.

Mark approached a nightstand. Images of anthrax attacks flashed through his mind.

INTELLIGENCE. THE GATEWAY TO THE SOUL.

Your intelligence quotient is reasonably high. You know, they say men are afraid of intelligent females. Personally, I simply cannot stand the bimbos. They are the LebensunwertesLeben to me. They are no better than all those feminine accessories they have been conditioned to play with. Have you ever wondered why there are so few female geniuses? I am not trying to sound misogynistic here just trying to understand, you know? It just makes no sense, with all their supp osed multitasking skills. Or, perhaps, this is just another layer of societal control? That aside, I am glad I have found you. You truly are a trophy. There is nothing more precious than a beautiful woman with brains. Once you have read the message, move on to the next card. Please.

Hes referring to me in a female form, Mark thought. What does that mean, exactly? Most likely a manipulation tactic meant to confuse me. Or a full-blown psycho. I gotta play along and see where this game takes me.

ANALYSIS OF WOMANHOOD. WAS FREUD RIGHT?

As you are probably aware, Freud said that a woman is a castrated man. I would proceed even further, and say that a woman is a castrated prepubescent boy who was socially conditioned to grow his hair long. Womans inferiority is expressed through her clothing (vide: dresses, skirts, makeup, nails, Roman slave branders - piercings, heels the list goes ad infinitum), as well as behavioral patterns (most notably: cowardice, lack of perseverance and focus on appearance, known in the ancient world as malakia in Greece and cynaidos in Rome). Women rebel against their unpleasant condition, but whatever they do the truth always stares them in the face. That is why women are such mindless bureaucrats. Remember: even the feminist revolution was sponsored by a GermanAmerican-Jewish oil magnate Rockefeller. There is a perfect storm in society and soon all the artificial rules will disappear. The entropy is upon us. Perception can be easily manipulated, Mark. The rule of reciprocity, Maslows hierarchy of needs, Sapir-Whorf hypothesis, subtle forms of discrimination and clean-cut divisions.. not to mention the dissociative identity disorder and all the philosophical implications. Keep on devising your personal branding strategies. The only way to salvation is through technology and understanding the nature of reality. The age-old question: does our consciousness originate in the brain or is the brain merely an interface, serving as a link between the physical and the spiritual? Studying the nature of consciousness is of paramount importance whether we like it or not. Our entire civilizational hypostasis depends on it. Otherwise it will be

chaos. Indeed, it is chaos, because the hypostasian principle is not being properly addressed. Social mores are stronger than positions of power. The time has come to pick up the final card.

This isnt the competition, inferred Mark. This isnt a disingenuous business pitch meant to dazzle me. Im dealing with a full-blown psychosis here. Its a twisted game of chess. The rules apply. Time to pick up your next card, Mark.

THE ERA OF GLOBAL DICHOTOMIZATION.

Mark, we live in a dichotomized world. Look at English teaching. There is a strict division between native and non-native speakers in the minds of many. This division serves as a tool of subjugation and oppression. In a globalized world with omnipresent English, we are still asked to categorize linguistic competence. You are asked to pay for special exams if you do not happen to live in an English-speaking country and want to attend a university in the Anglosphere. Surely, when the university staff interacts with a prospective student and can verify he/she is on a native and/or nearnative level due to their family connections, what have you why do you still want to apply the tests? This is just a money-making scheme, which makes people feel uncomfortable. Same with other forms of subtle discrimination so common throughout this world. There is nothing worse than subtle discriminatory practices, Mark: for people fail to recognize them and think you are a fool for mentioning them. And that is the twilight zone where the Devil resides. We must battle this twilight zone and ensure it never returns. We must battle all the insipid minds who support knowingly or not the status quo of ignorance and submission. Mark, the time has come for the crucible.

YOUR TASK.

Mark, your task is simple: you are to decipher what this is all about. You have an hour to come up with a reasonable explanation. You will put the explanation down in writing and slip it under the metal door for me to asses. If you can do that, you will be set free. If not.. time to take the ultimate gamble and shed your mortal coil. Use your knowledge of psychology, linguistics, business and a plethora of other fields; combine them with your SWOT-analysis tacit life experience and see what you can come up with. This is the only way for your mortal coil to survive. You can use a pen and a notebook you are going to find in there. The top drawer.

Mark knew there was no way he could decipher the message. As astute as he was, there was an infinite number of scenarios to choose from. Perhaps the meaning was not even there a symbolic reflection of a deranged mind. On the other hand, the deranged mind was certainly well-organized. Such dichotomies were not unheard of. Dissociative identity disorder? Educated? Foreign? Was the perpetrator a self-proclaimed Nemesis? Pure speculation. Mark had to come up with an accurate profile; and by coming up with the profile - learn to speak the language of the psycho.

Having considered the sheer impossibility of coming up with the accurate profile, however, the entrepreneur decided to leave the notebook blank. He then showed the blank piece of paper to the camera in the right corner of the room.

This is my answer, Mark stated. Make of it what you will.
