ZTejas was founded by friends. We want to continue their tradition of Southern hospitality with an innovative twist. ZTejas is laid back and knows how to party, as shown by their heavy handed margaritaz. Through this campaign we will target Spice Lovers, Socializers, and Biz Diners and spread the ZTejas spirit this holiday season.

Plan & Strategy

12 Drinks of MixmaZ
Six new drinks will be revealed on December 1st for the Taste of Tejas promotion which will showcase the new mixes and six favorites that are not normally offered at a discount during Happy Hour. Guests will be able to vote for their favorite flavor margarita on the ZTejas website, ZTejas mobile App, or in stores. Voters will automatically be entered into the Happy HolidayZ sweepstakes, and will have the option to opt-in to promotional emails, further building the ZTejas email database. The sweepstakes winner and the most popular margarita will be revealed on January 1st at the 6th street ZTejas Z-Day Party, and the winning drink will be added to the menu for all of 2014.

Happy HolidayZ Sweepstakes Prizes


1. The Grand Prize winner will receive an all expenses paid trip to Austin, TX, with three friends. There they will stay for three days and two nights in the Extreme WOW Suite at the W Hotel and receive cooking lessons from ZTejas chefs at the original 6th Street location. 2. 50 runner-ups will win $50 ZTejas Gift Cards. 3. 100 people will win a certificate for a Free Margarita.

Taste of Tejas
Taste of Tejas will be an in-store food pairing promotion where consumers can receive a discount for pairing one item from three specific categories for one price. Utilizing the 12 Promotional Margaritas for the 12 Drinks of MixmaZ, customers will pick a margarita, an appetizer, and an entree for a discounted price of $20 during happy hour (based off of each locations happy hour timing) and $25 after happy hour.

Restaurant Displays
To encourage customers to spread the word about ZTejas, we will create huge holiday themed picture frames. The frames will be identical, but the backdrops will be specific to each location, and will feature a photo of the actual restaurant. Guests can use their smart phones or cameras to take pictures inside the frames and share them on social media. If possible, hosts/hotesses can have iPads to take pictures of guests in the frames and upload these photos directly onto the ZTejas website, where guests can later download the photo for free, thus driving traffic to the website. These frames will also be featured at the Get Down to BiZness with ZTejas catered parties. 9

Z Day
January 1st is Z Day! ZTejas will host a party at every location with live music, celebrity guests, and great food. Here we will reveal the new margarita of 2014 and the sweepstakes grand prize winner. A feed of the broadcast will be played at all ZTejas locations so everyone can celebrate ZDay together! Each of the locations will feature special ZDay offers (promotions will vary by location), and the new margarita of 2014 will be served for $1 with the purchase of an entree.

Get Down to BiZness with ZTejas


To become the routine lunch stop, ZTejas will feature a drawing specifically targeted to biz diners. When biz diners eat at any of the 11 restaurants they will be able to drop off their business card in a large margarita glass located on top of the hostesses station. One company from each location will be selected randomly to win a catered lunch for up to 100 people. The catered lunch will also feature 2 margaritas per person. By dropping in their business card, they will opt-in to future email promotions. This will capture more emails to add to the ZTejas database. The winner will be chosen on November 30. The winning company can choose the day of their lunch between the days of December 5-16.

Social Media
In order to create awareness about our various promotions, we will utilize ZTejas existing social media networks as well as implement new outlets. Social media will increase ZTejas intangible value and spread awareness to both strong and weak ties. Strong ties are consumers who are actively engaged, and interact with social media regularly. Weak ties are consumers who are unfamiliar with the company, they are connected through social media to the strong ties, and are potential customers. It will encourage interaction and engagement with our target audiences: Spice Lovers, Socializers, and Biz Diners.

Facebook: Like and Share Promotion - Customers who like ZTejas existing Facebook page and share the image below will win a special coupon that they can show their server straight from their mobile device, or print out. Twitter: ZCode - We will release a secret code via twitter everyday and if you mention the code to the waitress/waiter you will receive 50% off your margarita. Limit 1 per visit. Both of these social media promotions will build our online following. In turn, ZTejas will gain more exposure and word-of-mouth advertising. They are simple, and require little effort from the customer.

New Social Media


Facebook and Twitter are social media of the past. Sites like Instagram and Vine, are the newest and most utilized networks amongst the younger demographics, which we are trying to target in this campaign. ZTejas currently lacks these up-and-coming social media platforms. By creating accounts, we can spread awareness of the promotion and continue using them long after the holiday season. Instagram - We can see what customers are posting, filter through hashtags, utilize geotagging, and get a better idea of the experiences customers are having. In addition, we can post beautiful mouthwatering images and video of the food, live music, specials, and promotions to spark interest of consumers. Vine - We can show video clips of the chefs preparing the dishes, different specials and other promotional offers on this looped video sharing site. Majority of users are between the ages of 18-24. 15

Yelp
Every time a customer checks-in on yelp, they will receive an instant coupon. This coupon will be a random percent of 5%, 10%, 15% or 20% off an entree, appetizer, margarita, or total bill. The variety will encourage customers to keep checking in and to keep coming back. This will build brand awareness and online traffic, as well as increase repeat visitation. Yelp is the Spice Lovers Bible, and will also target Socializers and Biz Diners who view Spice Lovers in their own networks as Opinion Leaders.

Zmail
By requiring an email when entering our sweepstakes we can encourage guests to opt-in to our promotional emails. This will benefit ZTejas in the long-run after Happy HolidayZ promotion has ended. We recommend that Z Tejas increase its communications with guests through email regarding coupons, promotions, and events. ZTejas can further communicate to its customers by asking them to complete a survey and in return offer them a coupon for their next visit. This will create a stronger relationship for Z Tejas and their customers by showing them that they care and want their feedback.

1. No purchase necessary to enter or win. Non-purchase entries and purchase entries have an equal chance of winning. 2. ELIGIBILITY: The Happy HolidayZ Sweepstakes (The Sweepstakes) is open to legal residents of the fifty (5) United States and the District of Columbia, who are 21 years of age or older as of date of entry, valid State ID or Passport required (Eligible Participants). Void where prohibited. Employees, shareholders, and representatives of ZTejas, Inc. (Sponsor), and their respective advertising and promotion agencies, affiliates, and immediate family members are not eligible to enter or win. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. The Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Yelp. The information you provide will only be used for the purpose of the drawings and to notify potential winners, unless otherwise noted. 3. SWEEPSTAKES TIMING/DESCRIPTION: The Sweepstakes begins at 08:00:00 AM Pacific Standard Time (PST) on Sunday December 1, 2013 and ends 11:59:59 PM PT on Monday December 30, 2013 (the Promotional Period). 4. HOW TO ENTER: You may enter the Sweepstakes through the application on the ZTejas website, using the ZTejas mobile application, or at any ZTejas restaurant. You will be asked to complete and submit the Registration Form including your first and last name, email address, and your favorite margarita from the six new flavors. You can only choose one margarita per entry. Entries with multiple or no selected margarita flavors will be void. Entries must be received by Monday December, 30, 2013 by 11: 59:59 PST. Limit one (1) entry per person per day. Subsequent entries submitted by the same person in excess of the stated limitation for the entry period will be void. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Incomplete entries or entries not complying with these Official Rules are subject to disqualification, at the Sponsors sole discretion. The promotional website's database clock will be the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes. Releasees are not responsible for late, lost, delayed, stolen, undelivered, incomplete, damaged, or misdirected entries. Sponsors decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves all rights, including the right to edit, publish, use, adapt, modify, or dispose of an entry, proper names, likenesses, and photographs for advertising and promotional purposes in all media (included, but not limited to, the internet) without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. If an entrant changes his/her email address after he/she enters the Sweepstakes, it is his/her sole responsibility to notify the Sponsor by email to be received by the end of the Promotional Period.

5. DETERMINATION OF WINNERS: One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing to win the grand prize, fifty (50) potential winners will be selected at random for the second prize, and one hundred(100) potential winners will be selected for the third prize. Drawings will be conducted by Next Gen Marketing, an independent judging organization on Tuesday December 31, 2013. Judges/Sponsors decisions are final on matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Potential winners will be notified by email on or about Tuesday December 31, 2013. Any potential winner who publicizes their winnings before Wednesday January 1, 2014 at 5:00 PM PST on any social or traditional media will forfeit their winnings, and a potential alternate winner may be chosen at the discretion of the Sponsor. Potential winners may be required to verify their email address or to sign an affidavit of eligibility/liability release, a publicity release where legal, and Federal and State tax release, and return these documents, properly executed, via fax, within twenty-four (24) hours of date and time of notification and the original documents within seven (7) days of date of notification via regular U.S. Mail. Non compliance with this time frame and/or with these Official Rules; Sponsors inability to contact a potential winner within a reasonable time period; or a prizes or prize notifications return as undeliverable will result in such potential winner disqualification and, at Sponsors discretion, the prize may be awarded to a potential alternate winner. Allow 6-8 weeks for delivery of prize. 6. ODDS: Odds of winning a prize depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotional Period. 7. PRIZES: Third Prize: One-hundred (100) Certificates for one (1) free margarita, valid at all Z'Tejas locations. Certificate expires December 31, 2014. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of all Certificates: $1050.00. Second Prize: Fifty (50) $50 Z'Tejas Gift Cards. ARV of all Gift Cards: $2500.00. Grand Prize: A 3-day/2-night trip for the winner and three (3) guests to Austin, TX. Trip prize includes round-trip, coach class air transportation from a major airport nearest the winner's home to Austin, TX, one (1) Extreme WOW Suite at the W Hotel in Austin, a two-hour cooking lesson from Z'Tejas chefs at the 6th Street Z'Tejas location, and three (3) meals per day. ARV: $8,236.80. Actual value of trip prize depends upon the city of departure, time of travel, any airfare fluctuations and on current market conditions at time of prize fulfillment, and any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value if any, will not be awarded. See the Travel Restrictions section below for further information. Total ARV of all prizes: $11,786.80.

No substitutions, cash equivalents, or transfer of prizes are permitted, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. All taxes, and any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specifically stated within these Official Rules as being provided, are the sole responsibility of the winners, including, without limitation, all federal, state, and local taxes. Prize may not be transferred or substituted except at the Sponsor's sole discretion. Limit one (1) prize per person during the Promotion Period. Travel Restrictions Winner and guests must be able to travel by July 1, 2014 or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. If a travel guest is a resident of jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, he/.she must be accompanied by his/her parent/legal guardian, and such legal guardian must pay his/her own expenses unless deemed to be a winner/travel guest. Winner, guest or parent or legal guardian of minor guest must sign a travel release prior to traveling. Trip is subject to air/hotel availability and confirmation of reservations; certain travel restrictions and blackout dates may apply. The trip may not be combined with any other offer. Airline and flight times to be selected by Sponsor at its sole discretion. One or more stopovers may be required on air transportation. Winner and guests must travel together at the same time on the same itinerary. Air transportation and hotel accommodations must be taken together and cannot be taken separately. All travel arrangements must be made through Sponsor's agent on a carrier of Sponsor's choice. Once trip dates have been booked, no change, extension, or substitution of trip dates is permitted, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Winner must confirm available travel dates and flight times selected by the Sponsor at least four (4) weeks prior to travel dates. No extension or change of trip dates permitted. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers, certificates or similar items once they are in winner's possession, or in the possession of winner's guests. Winner and guests must possess valid ID and are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary and required travel documents in order to travel. Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising, and promotion agencies, and Next Gen Marketing (Sweepstakes Entities) shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitution or any act or omissions whatsoever by the air carriers, hotels, or other transportation companies or any other persons providing any of these services and accommodations to passengers including any results thereof such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same. Sweepstakes Entities shall not be liable for any loss or damage to baggage. All airline tickets issued in conjunction with prize are not eligible for frequent flyer miles, and no code-share flights may be used. Prize components cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer, and no portion may be separated except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Prize

conditions may be added or modified by companies providing those portions of the prize. The prize restrictions/conditions stated herein are not all-inclusive and may be subject to additional restrictions/conditions, which may be stated in the affidavit and release and/or prize travel documents. Costs for room and tax only based on one suite with four (4) occupants; meals, telephone calls, and other incidentals are not included. 8. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules including all eligibility requirements and the decisions of the Sponsor and judges, which are final and binding. By accepting a prize, each winner consents to the use of his/her name, impage, likeness, photograph, voice, and biographical material for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes by Sponsor, or party designated by Sponsor, in any and all media now or hereafter devised, including but not limited to, any online announcements, worldwide in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, or permission, except where prohibited by law. Entrants release and hold harmless Releasees from any claims, actions, injury, loss, or damage of any kind, including but not limited to, personal injury or death, resulting, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participating in this Sweepstakes or from the acceptance, possession, or use or misuse of the prize. This limitation of liability is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect, or consequential damages; loss of data, income or profit;' loss of damage to property; and claims of third parties. Entrants agree that Releases have not made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, statutory, express or implied (including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, title, and fitness for a particular purpose), in fact or in law, relative to the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded. 9. GENERAL: Sponsor will collect information from the entrants solely for the purpose of the drawings and to notify potential winners, unless otherwise specified. Sponsor will not share this information with any third party, excpt as necessary for the administration of the Sweepstakes or potential winner notification as applicable, nor attempt to contact entrant, unless entrant has agreed to receive further information on Sponsor's products and promotions or for potential winner notification (if applicable). Releasees are not responsible for entries that are lost, misdirected, or fail to enter into the system, or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly; or for any other errors or problems of any kind, whether typographical, printing, mechanical, human, electronic, or otherwise, relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, any error or problem that may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes, or

in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend part or all of this Sweepstakes at any time without notice and for any reason, including if in the judges opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, or integrity and proper play of the Sweepstakes. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor may void any entries it suspects are at issue and, at its discretion, award the prizes at issue in a random drawing from among all nonsuspect, eligible entries received for the applicable Drawing(s). Caution: Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be in violation of criminal and civil laws and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies (including attorneys fees) from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Sponsors failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entrants who violate these Official Rules or interfere with this Sweepstakes in any manner. If an entrant is disqualified, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate that entrants eligibility to participate in the Sweepstakes. 10. DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Eligible Participant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Arizona, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Arizona, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Arizona. 11.
